Thank you so much for this video, I just bought a horse last weekend, who came off the trailer very lame. I’m almost convinced that he has back issues that have caused him to lose the strength in his stifles. You can literally see his stifles pop when he is out grazing, his hind buckles just at a slow walk. Your video has really helped me. I paid 5 figures for this horse, I have a vet coming to check him out. I’m hoping the seller will acknowledge that the horse was sold not fit for the purpose it was advertised. Lesson learned is always get a PPE.

Yeah a University of mInnesota study two years ago found that the horses exhibiting string halt and shivers showed reduced and mis-firing nerve signals to their hindquarters. best Bruce Peek

Locking stifle is the same as buckling the stifle?

Buckling is a milder form of the problem, but yes - it is all the same issue.
