You make great points on pencils being too close in hue in a set of that size.

These are no longer available on Amazon. Guess that's good for my bank account. I liked the vibrancy of the colors when you were swatching them. Maybe they will number them and bring them back. :)

Yikes, I didn't know that! I had to go back and watch some of this video again. I can tell it's old because of my swatch sheets. I now have all mine on personal swatch sheets I put into families. They have these named and numbered (I wasn't sure what you meant by maybe they would number them) but I hope you are right about bringing them back!!! If I come across a set, I will let you know!!! Or if I get my hands on a second set (it happens) maybe I can get them to you to review! Thanks for watching Deb!

Beautifully packaged, they look like a nice set. Beautifully coloured in piece too. I have a question that maybe you could answer in another video? When you create your swatch charts how do you go about it? I create my own but they are simple going through as nicely as I can through the rainbow with skin tones, browns, blacks at the begining. Do you colour all the pencils out then group them according to their undertones and then make up the swatch chart from that? Or is there some sort of guide you tend to follow? And are all sets quite different to swatch? Im just curious. It would be good to see for a set of pencils around 50 or more.

The plastic sheet could be used to protect the next page or to make sure the coloring surface is smooth.

I think it's interesting that you mention the Grizaye pencil because that's what I thought when I first tried these. Very similar feeling. Soft, silky laydown. Good pigment payout. I think maybe Artisto are a bit more refined. I like the Grizaye but it has a wee bit of a crayon feel to them. The pencils look sort of similar, too. Anyway, both good pencils. As are the other two you pencils you compared them to (Markart/Nyoni). All have that silky, soft touch. I like the Artisto a lot. (hate falling into this thing of saying all these pencils are the same but it's interesting that Artisto has a gold-colored barrel of an old gold sort of color. Markart also has a pencil where the barrel is gold colored but it's not a metallic. It's also kind of an old gold/brown olive sort of color. Mmmm)

Finally received the pencils. (Took 3 weeks for them to get to Europe) 🤗Love them. Worth the wait. They remind me of Arteza Expert but I prefer the hexagon shape. Besides the Castleton Green being on 2 pencils, there’s 2 pencils marked 310 Iron Gray. One should be 370 Morning Fog. I don’t know which is which tho. I’m guessing the light grey is Morning Fog.

Never in a million years did I think anyone would ever be interested in my logo mat. But you are about the 6th person to ask me if I sold them. That information on the side is indeed legit...but to be honest (coming from someone that does this as a profession) you honestly don't need it. I stuck it there because it seems liked a good display. Once you grasp the color wheel...everything else is gravy! You probably use most of that information and don't even realize it. At the end of the day, its just a bunch of pretty stats to make me look smart haha I hope you are picking up a few things from my videos. I love when people are still new and like little sponges! Thats when everything is still FUN and exciting! 🥰

You're never too late Alex!!! If you watch to the very end, I post the final image with the blenders I used. It's been a while, so I had to go back and check 😅 It looks like I used Derwent and Caran dAche on this one. Unfortunately, no... this set doesn't have its own blender. Im glad you found my channel!!! And thanks for watching. I hope you got something out of it!! 🥰

That plastic sheet is to put between pages in a sketch book or coloring book so you don’t damage the paper underneath the one you are drawing on. I'm hearing good comments about this brand and are really inexpensive.

@sugahsweetart-tv4ti All of Ohuhu sketchbooks come with it. I buy plastic cutting mats at Dollar Tree and cut my own size of all of my sketch books.
