Fr tho I think with the passive they’d just make his circle smaller so he could approach enemies faster before they notice. The mute circle is kinda a great idea With the phase it would probably be limited to walls that you can shoot through and you have a limited amount of time. Similar to iso, you’d probably activate the ability then have a countdown where in that time you could phase through stuff but once the countdown is done you’re solid again. With the ult I can’t imagine riot would give the ability to control the enemy completely but just to see where the enemies are. Kinda like recon The invisibility is surprisingly the only thing I don’t see working but we have a character that can literally revive themselves so who knows

@@evl952 I think the passive would work better as an ability, that you activate and it has a timer where your footsteps are completely silent, and the invisibility ability it would work more like a reyna dismiss imo, I would get rid of the wall phase ability.

A bit more balancing than a little bit, quiet step / invisbility is fairly okay but phasing through wall is a game changer mechanics like this is something I could imagine / view in Overwatch and be "oh okay that's sick" but in Valorant it's a bit too much, same for the ultimate ability. Having someone taking controle of your character is 1 - not a good idea for the player as in, the player would feel like it's an unfair ability in this type of game, which it is and as I said i'd see this in Overwatch more than in Valorant 2 - it's too game changing, you'll be paranoiac of who will be controlled and this mean that you'll need to kill your team mate as his character try to kill you ? Which mean, you can lose 1+ for free / without being able to revenge ? (if it swap the players it's the same thing but for both teams so it's suck even harder). To change it they could make it a detaining ability like "you and the people you're targeting are now detained for X sec" or something like Iso's ult "you create a shadow like wave (like fade yes) and the first person hit is send to the shadow realm and come back in X sec, you can see a mark on the ground indicating where the person was hit" or make the phasing through a wall the ultimate ability and create a new base one The mute bubble is cool, but i'm wondering about the impact of the possibility to plant without making sound / muting the spike as it's already planted to defuse it (if you're on defense) or to make it more difficult to track the remaining time (if you're on attack). As itself these situation can be respectivly solved by spamming shots on the spike, checking if they are defusing AND by knowing the timer before the detonation. But we need to think further with the combination of other agents with smokes / mollies and such to buy time / obstruct vision. This make the ability very much problematic (as in an ability design perspective) And I don't think I need to push further the explaining about phasing through a wall with the combination of everything stated before xD I like the concepts of the agents overall but they deffinitly don't feel Valorant enough, yeah they are fan made / just a for fun things but this show how difficult it is to actually make an interesting and fun to play agent / concept without it being too strong / game changer

the lore the artist makes on him makes me think he somehow shares traits with omen lol like maybe he's another employee that got experimented on but was successful instead? like omen can't phase through walls but he can teleport around and throw clouds of smoke and even make enemies blind and deaf. meanwhile wraith being the "successful experiment" is a mist/smoke that can phase through walls and become invisible and silence sounds in a specific area and take over a body.

Wraith looks so sick, I imagine him being like an Edgar Allen Poe fanatic, and when he uses his ult, you can see him above your teammate possessing them, maybe you can shoot his shadow to free them or something, similar to omen's ult getting cancelled before he activates it.

Wraith could definitely be a fantastic duellist hero. Being able to sneak behind and assassinate an enemy using a combo of your abilities by going invisible, phasing through a wall to get behind and then silencing your own OP shot to one tap someone would be fucking so fun

Ngl putting a mute bubble around like a chamber or jett so they can activate their ult without anyone realizing could be a cool idea. Most people when they hear jett they look for spots they can updraft or jump peek, but they wont know its active so they'd have no idea

I mean logically that pretty stupid since calling out your ult isnt a very meta directing feature of the game, imagine in game putting a magical bubble around your ally to silence them instead of just asking them to shut up and maybe not scream using their ability.

If i were to give some critique on the first design "lore wise" i guess. Valorant agents are usually in 1 of 2 groups. Radiants and regular agents. *Radiants* being like Jett, Pheonix, Neon, Astra. These people with very interesting magical powers that they got from the Radianite. Regular agents are mostly just humans/Super soldiers with advanced tech or gadgets. Killjoy, Raze, Breach, Brim, Deadlock, Harbor etc. So what i would have done for the first design is add the "Radiant" look to them. Jett has her wind tattoos, Astra has her Astral glow, Pheonix has the fire-y tint in his hair and on his collar. But Astar has nothing really relating to space rocks or earth at all. She looks more like a Regular agent with prosthetics, like Breach. Nothing really speaks "Radiant" about her. But i do love what you did with the design. If you were able to include some rock elements into the design it would have been perfect.

If I we're to give some critique on the Astra lore, Astra didn't get her powers from radianite, she found a gauntlet at the bottom of a lake made by a meteor and she became a guardian. Similar to harbor's bracelets and yoru's mask that both have guardian power in them. Yoru already had radianite powers, harbor and Astra didn't. Since harbor has a guardian relic and as you say he looks normal, I don't think there needs to be a radiant flair added if it's a similar situation where a normal dude just found a relic. It really depends on the power they decide to give it. Harbor got quite a boring relic pretty unlucky.

I'd assumed that the prosthetics given to Astar (terrible confusing name is my critique btw) gave her powers, like the same sort of thing as Doomfist in Overwatch, or Breach/Deadlock in Valo for that matter.

I think cypher and sovas clothes take some inspiration from their countries but yea usually the agents are in casual/armoured clothing

@@baghead_studios Yoru’s mask is quite minor, and is believable for someone (even if their not Japanese) to wear a mask like that. Meanwhile, the character here really tells you she’s from ancient Egypt. It’s not really a bad thing, it’s just that Valorant is normally more subtle

yeah, okay I gotta admit that was peak quantum's concept, wraith's design, and asters expression one felt like he'd jump out and attack me, one felt like it deserved a run-on-sight moniker, and I was genuinely able to visualize wraith ravaging an icebox execute (most american map trust)

I see wraith's invisibility ability kind of like a mix between an Omen tp and a jett dash & smoke. You would select an area and move towards there, and when you arrive, a short and small smoke would appear. It would make it more balanced because invisibility is restrained to only ults. Mute would have to have 2-3 charges, unless it's an actual smoke. In that case I wouldn't say more than 1 charge. The phase ability i think would work kind of like a mix between a yoru tp and a breach flash. Point towards a wall and you can see on the minimap where you would appear. I think sould domination could be a cool ult, but it should be fired from some kind of gun to make it balanced. All of the ults still require some amount of skill to capitalise. Because he's a gassy agent, i think a short range shotgun-like or cone like area would be balanced. Also, from the ulted person's allies perspective, their possessed ally should have some wipsy smoke swirling around them to indicate that they are posessed, and shooting their own ally should bring them back. Also, the possessed person should still be able to see. So if wraith makes them look at his allies, they could see that and comm it to their team. All in all I think this would make for an interesting duelist/controller hybrid.

Oooh I love your ideas with the phase ability. I think the ult would make more sense as something similar to a deadlock ult though, firing wise. I imagine it as Wraith's soul/body literally being fired out in a wispy could form that would go into another agent's body and possess them.

Really quickly, I think it'd be neat if the stealth character was a controller, like make the quiet bubble a smoke, in which you can't hear in, or out of, like a portable astra wall, however, you can only have 2 smokes while other controllers have 3-4 per round. Make them have a similar ui to omen so you can deploy it anywhere in the map. The silent step can be where your footsteps radius is reduced by 5-10ft. The wall phase can be the same, and I think it'd be neat if the ultimate was a bouncing projectile invisible projectile, like deadlock's ultimate, that when hit, will mind control them, but leave you vulnerable. However, if the enemy team kills your soul, they instead get reduced to 1hp instead of dying, and you are left out.

For Wraith I have an jdea that could kind of balance his invisibility. You cpuld have it in lore so that he controls what type of gas he fades out into, and in invis he could fade out to a poisonous gas like chlorine. When enemies are in a few feet of him, they get damaged, so a strategy to use him would be to rush the enemies and then runout as your ability is fading However if you attack at any point, be it at a target or an accidental shot, you'd be immediately reveawed to the enemy and have weakened attack If your ability naturally runs out, then you have no debuffs

@@echoesinautumn I personally love the idea of it being almost like a deadlock ult, their teammates would have to shoot them to force Wraith out of them and the original agent would go back into their body with whatever health they had before. He would take over an agent completely, you could shoot whatever gun they had and move, just not use their abilities. And maybe when he first takes them over, he has a lot of decay that goes away bringing him up to 150 hp. Maybe there could also be an option to suffocate the enemy, killing them and bringing you back to the location you used the ult from. I imagine this would solve the problem of ulting an enemy which is the last one alive. Ooh and maybe there could be a timer on the possession too, like clove res, but if Wraith isn't shot out of the body before the time runs out he is forced to leave the body, killing the possessed person.

My idea for wraith focuses on lurking, while still allowing him to help the team. Role: Controller Abilities: Quiet Steps, Aphantasia, Mute are all as is, but change phase and soul domination Smog: -Wraith deploys 4 smokes at the round's start. These can be activated anytime, similar to Viper's. Each smoke lasts 12 seconds. Smokes can stack for extended duration and recharge like Omen's. Ultimate - Vapor Trail: -Allows Wraith to teleport inside any of his active smokes. This lets him quickly rejoin his team or relocate to another site. Enemies will know he teleported but unlike omen, he cant see before teleporting.

I think Wraith would be such a fun addition to the game. I don't know about how strong he would be but I think he could become one of those duelists that are bad on paper but your top frag always plays it. The idea that at any moment Wraith could do a massive flank in a relatively short amount of time would be pretty strong because it means the enemy team would have to watch out for more places Wraith could POTENTIALLY be.

I just had an own idea for a new valorant agent and then i saw this video haha Love all the designs you did My idea for a character, for those who are interested: They have something to do with time. Maybe they can pause the spike or the timer for a short amount of time, to have like 10 secounds more time, to either plant or defuse(ultimate?) I also thought that they could pause the enemies or make them slower, it could be like a cypher's cage. And have another ability to make their own teammates faster for a set amount of time.

I think instead of sight line, it should be an easy to dodge projectile so but with a low opacity, so it's harder to spot. It could make a loud noise, but with the sound bubble, you could cancel it out. The improvements on the ultimate were nice, but it still could use a nerf, so maybe while he's in his gas form, you can shoot him to cancel his ult, same for invis just make him like a foggy visible hard to see if you aren't paying attention.

my headcanon to somewhat balance Soul Domination would be to make it just like a cypher cam but you can move the enemy around, kinda like yoru ult but you can move the body of the enemy but all they see is like when you get trapped in deadlock ult

Soul domination could be balances by the target being able to fight back. On use three aimlab type targets would appear similar to the mark used in the art. If all three broken within the window the ult fails. If they aren’t the body is taken over for a short period of time. This would make the ult useful in a heated combat, and maybe even be used to stop defuser. I think they’d be a initiator

I think the best way to balance Wraiths ulti is instead of taking over someones body, he can shape his body using the smoke to mimic an opponent he killed (something like Viego). Would fit with him being a duelost as well, he would go through a wall, silence an area around himself and an opponent to kill them quietly, and then take their shape with limited use to some of their abilities during the duration. Would be cool.

I've been wanting a character that can phase through walls though i think it should work a bot diffrently like he shoots the wall with the ability then he can walk thorugh it or it works like omens teleport it can just be used through the walls. His ult seem a bit to powerful and hard to counter. What if he can only move the enemy and theres a way for their team you shot him out of their teammate. like if he ults he can move the enemy into a line of fire with his team and give them a free kill. honestly all the other abilities seem fine maybe the passive just makes his footstep radius smaller. and the mute smoke sounds like it could be fun to play around with like defusing or rushing a site.

For balancing, maybe when you send Wraith's silence ability it gives you the vulnerable effect so it's a high-risk high-reward situation where you can very easily sneak up and kill someone but if the look back then you're basically dead. It also makes sense because the ability is him sending a big part of himself as a AOE

The Astar Agent could have been tweaked a little. Like rock slide could have been a concaved rock kind of like sage's ice wall. Rock hard could act like a temporary increase in ones shield by like 20 or 25 hit points. Her ult could have something to do with zodiacs weapons

Isnt Wraiths mute just clove's smoke without even being a smoke that they can just leave , having it as a target ability like fades prowler makes more sense without actually giving any information tho. And taking over dead bodies with Soul domination makes more sense than taking a complete online player imo...

haven´t finished the video yet, but i can see Astar working, Nebulas impact instead of coming out the sky would be like, she has 2 small rocks on her nand and then she goes like YEEET!, Rockhard would make her stop moving but give her extra resistance and she would mix it with landslide to make a good wall without dying, Chicxulub trifecta makes 2 small meteorites in the map and a big one, they will shatter into minor rocks that will deal aoe dmg on a bit random spots to make it balanced and dodgeable, she would be a sentinel tho, im going to post this and come back to it later lol

Wrait is HARD asf to balance, passive should be to make him SLIGHLY faster when shifting, Aphantasia would stay like a mini Yoru ult, sounds like a jett dash to me, mute would be like a brim beacon that unilaterally blocks sounds, phase sounds... fine at least, it stays like that but you´re vulnerable in the end of the phase, so you need a Smoke to play it nice, the possesion thing i PROPOSE to make it instead, you contact one player, that player becomes haunted, he cant hear and its nearsighed for 20 seconds, its still a guaranteed kill if used correctly, what about that?

I give up in Quantum. with rito spaggeti code it will BREAK THE GAME APARTbut in concepts and like that, its well designed, yall did a really good job :D
