@@RubberRoss understandable 100% there seems to be a particular method and powerset combo that KZbinrs who specialize in that game tend to keep to (I'm thinking of Tears of Grace specifically) and I've noticed the game is not terribly kind to exploration or trial and error, preventing an audience from seeing the cool end bosses. TYVM for the response! I had been curious about this when it happened and only just recalled the reaction when Isaac showed up.

The VA is british. However, they do that anime dub thing when recording his lines where, rather than re-sync the animations to the dub, they get the dubber to reword and alter the speed of their delivery to try to match the japanese mouth animations. Might have something to do with why the character sounds just slightly off-british to a lot of folks.

Torna mostly resolved that issue (among many other things it fixed), so here's to hoping that the rumored third game will let the voice actors actually act instead of trying to improvise no-context lines.
