NEWSFLASH: that's how EVERYONE feels about their art, even skilled artists. go make that mess. on impulse I opened ms paint and it turned out terrible, but recognizable. just make a little palette of 8 or so colors (or even use the default ones) and a mix of the pencil, brush and spraycan does a good enough job. took me about 25-30 mins. if you WANT to make art, the answer is than you CAN. at first, it'll look bad, but later, it'll look ok, and just like any other skill, it takes time and lots of practice to get better. also 2 bits of advice: think of your attempts as something you are building up, and not a hole you're filling, and don't try to make any one thing perfect, just make it close enough so you can finish it. (don't redraw lines, just try a few times and once there's a lot of them, they won't look so bad.)

As someone who has a deep hate and avoidance of acrylic paint may I suggest a curse in which a digital artist, who has no real experience with painting, has to paint traditionally on a canvas, same as Ross. To take this further you could do a whole episode where everyone has to paint traditionally but each one gets a different medium. The mediums could be acrylic paint, oil paint, water colour, gouache and ink. Another idea is to do the same but instead of paint it's oil pastels, pencils, textas, markers, chalk, crayons and pens. Of course something like this would need to be arranged properly in advance so the spin wheel and allocation of the curses would have to be done at least a week or more beforehand. Some of these mediums like the oil paint are toxic and allergic reactions are a concern as well, so that would have to be taken into account too. Also, just wanna say I really love this Bob Ross tutorial curse series you've got going on.
