First of all DC Youngfly stop dissing Patti's hair. Back in the 80's Patti was known for her big and wild hairstyles. And to me they looked amazing on her. They matched her voice which is big and unpredictable and out of this world.

The Legend...period. Yea, we call her the Godmother of Soul and what have you. But as many times as Ive seen Patti LaBelle open her mouth to sing, going as far back as the early 70s for me, I call her The Legend. 'Cuz thats what you know you're listening to when you see and hear her. NO ONE in the history of the music industry, has been able to do the things that this woman has pulled off vocally. no, she hasnt sold 100 million or more records. But how many of these so called folks out here claiming to be professional singers, have sold 50 million, like her?...I encourage you to pull up videos of her from the 70s and 80s, where she performed on all kinds of talk shows and special occasions...pull up her performances from the Johnny Carson Show or Arsenio's show. And you will see why no one touches her.
