Love the leathery looking corners, what a great technique. What really fascinated me was the Versamark stamping with the Pan Pastels, that looks amazing. I am just so surprised the stamping doesn't smear when you go over it with the Pan Pastels. Thanks for inspiring. Patti

I always enjoy watching your videos. I was thinking about dabbling in pan pastels but wasn't sure how to do them. You gave some good tips and I LOVE the "leather look" of the pages! Glossy accents would have been cool on the "water drops" for effect too! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much and welcome to my little art space :) I hope you enjoy more videos. I think the perfect journal is very personal because of many reasons, but I will tell you my favourite. It's Moleskine Sketchbook. I use the large one, which is A5 size. I like it personally because it opens flat easily, it's a size that I enjoy working on. Pages are think, but none of the journals will carry loads of water. We need to be a bit careful and maybe use masking tape at the spine. But, in general I'm very happy with it. Hope this helps :)

Melanie Goosen I usually don’t do anything unless I use paste. But, applying cold wax with your fingers is a good way.
