It's great but very limiting. You only get 50,000 credits and there's no option to buy more so you're screwed until next month when it re-ups your credit unless you subscribe on another account

@@obryn I guess Artlist doesn’t want their voices to be used in meaningless faceless KZbin videos, hence the “limited” credits. However, I agree and believe having the option to buy some extra credits would absolutely help ;)

@@PaulHeimlund Entschuldige bitte, aber es scheint, dass es sich hier um einen Anbieter von Dienstleistungen handelt, dessen Hauptziel es sein sollte Gewinne zu erzielen, was verständlich ist. Die angesprochene Zielgruppe sind offensichtlich Kunden, die nur kleine Projekte realisieren und mit einem Jahresplan zurechtkommen. Allerdings, die vordefinierten Stimmen werden mit Lizenzrechten erworben und gehen somit in das Eigentum des Nutzers über. Es reicht schon eine Stunde, um mit diesen Stimmen Unsinn zu produzieren. Der Service wirkt unzureichend und unüberlegt, wenn der Anbieter ihn nicht nachvollziehbar erklärt, da er einen großen Teil der eventuellen Kunden ausschließt und ich denke, das sind nicht gerade wenige, die diesen Service in Anspruch genommen hätten, wenn das Angebot besser wäre. Auf der Website gibt es zwar eine Rubrik mit häufig gestellten Fragen, aber dort wird nicht erklärt, warum der Dienst so eingeschränkt ist oder warum nur ein Jahresvertrag angeboten wird. Es ist ärgerlich, dass Kunden so lange gebunden werden sollen, obwohl die Entwicklung in diesem Bereich schnell voranschreitet und in den kommenden Monaten möglicherweise ein Konkurrenzprodukt mit besserem Service auf den Markt kommt. Ich hoffe, dass dies bald der Fall sein wird.

If you have to make changes to your text because it doesn’t sound right (adding a comma or a period to change the way your ai actor sounds for example), does it take away from your credits or do you only use credits after you finalize? It would suck to lose credits while you tweak the project. Can anybody shed light on this?

@@boatrocker919 yes it seems restrictive just to test & tweak project - they should charge credits upon downloading not edit & test phase.

how do you generate test versions of VoiceOver (before downloading your final voice choice) without burning through credits ?

You can’t do tests. I usually do a short sentence until I’m happy with the result. Once I’ve found the voice/style, I generate one sentence at a time. Like this I don’t burn through the credits and if there’s a word or sentence im not happy with, I don’t have to generate a whole paragraph. Hope this helps! :)
