My experience. So I ordered them with a neewer grip for my canon t6i. Slapped both on my camera and I got error messages and basically didn’t let me use the camera. I was pretty bummed to be honest. 1hr later I decided to give it another try before I returned it and completely charged the batteries. Slapped them on again and it gave me the message that these aren’t genuine batteries do you still want to use the camera and I entered yes (not word for word) and it worked fine. Doesn’t say how much battery is has but that’s not a problem. Still scared that I go trying to take pictures then when I turn the camera on it won’t work again. So just as a precaution I’m gonna carry around the original canon battery. But overall not too bad as long as it keeps working. Thanks for this video really made me feel better about keeping the batteries

I just bought this battery today and upon arrival, i noticed that in the battery settings the camera actually reads it as DR-E18 - a power adapter kit from canon. That's the reason imo why it's not showing the battery level because the adapter kit is supposedly b plugged in an outlet.

same thing with mr eos rp. I think canon only reads it OEM batteries.

It says in the description that the M series does not show the battery level but it does say why ones it does work on which is a lot.

Brother, you said Artman batteries lasted 95:19 minutes and the cannon 10 minutes only?? And than you say it's a 20 minutes difference between the two? Did you mean that the Canon lasted 1:10 minutes? I'm trying to understand.

I just got it today, it shows battery level indicator in the R50 but it won't charge if you charge it while it's in the camera.

Interesting! These batteries were before charging in cam were a thing so wonder if that has anything to do with it

Is it true that if you use a 3rd party batteries on a canon camera you would not be able to save your video files? Have you experience that? Did anyone else used the batteries on a Canon SL3 Camera?

I haven’t used these batteries or camera in about 3 years, but one thing I have learned over the years is that it’s worth investing in the factory batteries. I’ve had batteries swell and get stuck inside the camera before. Not these batteries, but it kept me from using 3rd party batteries ever since

@@ironwolf7823 I havent had any issue with them since i started to use them! i bought a 2-pack of the batteries. They last much longer in my situation more than the OG's.

I ordered these batteries for my canon eos rebel sl3. I was when the box came because I get excited over stupid stuff... Anyway, I charged them to full capacity, and tried to put them in my camera. The batteries were too big and just wouldn't work no matter how much I tried. I checked the order again and it said made for the sl3 along with a billion more other cameras. I ended up returning them and getting other ones that work fine now. The worst part of this story is the 2 other days I had to wait for the other batteries. Correction: I could have just been a complete idiot and gotten the wrong batteries. Knowing me I wouldn't be surprised.

THESE BATERIES SUCK THEY THROW MAD ERRORS THAT CANT BE RECOVERED FROM TILL YOU REMOVE AND RE-INSERT THE BATTERY. do not buy.
