Well, nice to be reassured that I'm doing something right. Tony, the thing I'd really be grateful for is a tutorial on assembling plastic figures. Now, you must realize, that I'm a former Vietnam artillery gunner and suffer minor trembling, especially in my hands. I love all the plastic kits that make our hobby more affordable but with few are no directions on which arms fit which torsos I inevitably wind up with figures with very doubtful shoulder anatomies and fingers coated in dried super glue. I'm sure I'm not the only modeler out here with this problem. Thanks for your work.

Putting a piece of aluminum foil on one inside half will allow you to shape the flag easier once it’s on the pole

Good Question! Unfortunately I don't have a good answer for it right now. I don't paint Japanese too often and when I do I usually mix up a colour.

What color is the flag pole? A bit of tin foil inside the flag makes it easier to fold.

AHH to think a General would camp 300-400 metes back from the Battle with his Staff and peer into the smoke using a Telescope and notice the Flags of the Battalions moving about through the glass .
