I'm 48 years old now and when I was a child the ice cream with the stick in the tube was called "push-ups". The packaging had the flintstones on it and it was orange sherbert ice cream. So yes, push-up is correct.

In the movie “Ace Ventura When Nature Calls” Jim Carry picks up the husband of a lady wearing fur (after he knocks him out by punching him) and puts the man around his neck like a fur. In the movie he is wearing a Monical and Jim Carry says, “you must be the monopoly guy!”. When he hands back the knocked out man to his wife, Jim Carry shakes the man making his mouth move and says, “do not pass go, do not collect $200.” At least….that’s what I remember 😂

Omg yes. We didn’t have a way to roll back the television so you had to be there on time sitting there waiting to see Tinker Bell, right?! I can’t tell you how many fights I got in with my family that we were going to watch Disney because I had to see Tinker Bell even if they wanted to change the channel after Tinker Bell flew out and introduced the show. My whole week was waiting for that one moment the next week to see Tinker Bell again come out and make that flash happen! It wasn’t just that she was a cute little fairy flying out. At the time, there was no other animated graphic on the TV that was so magical as Tinker Bell‘s flash.. and then it would open up the screen to the movie. And as a kid, I thought it was real. That was back when I still believed in Santa and the Easter bunny and Tinker Bell was in that league. So I really thought we were looking at Disneyland, and then she would magically explode the screen into the movie with that flash. And only THEN my dad could turn it to baseball or my mom could turn it to Jacque Cousteau and that was fine. But that television channel had to be on Disney at that moment that Tinker Bell flew out for the in introduction every single week or all three of us kids would scream and literally start crying. I have been sent to bed without supper for pitching a fit that they wouldn’t change the channel. I kid you not. I have yelled at my parents and told them they are “Meanies” that shouldn’t have ever had kids if they weren’t going to watch cartoons and let us see Tinker Bell. I kid you not. That’s how much it meant to me to see that magic and it changed my whole life. That and bewitched. Oh don’t start doing any Mandela effect about bewitched because I will go absolutely off the reservation. Absolutely. Tinker Bell and bewitched were the magic in my life, and this Mandela effect is screwing with that magic. Oh no sir! 😆🧚

As a science educator I can affirm that there is such a things a NEW MOON and its dark for up to 2-3 days. Its often a prime time for astronomers to look at stars and other other objects as there is no light from the moon to obscure the view.

The reason everyone remembers it is because it was there. I just dusted off an original vhs copy of the film from the first release run and watched it... its there. My guess is at some point during disneys many re releases, it got edited out due to the morals of the time.

The version I saw way back in the day the slipper flew off the stepsisters big ol fat foot and broke, but Cinderella had the other slipper to prove it was hers to begin with. They played it every time your local team won a championship - (I remember when the Pistons won the Repeat Championship in 1990 and heard this song on what used to be radio station WHYT 96.3FM in Detroit. I also heard this song being played after other championships - like when the Braves won in 1995 (I moved to ATL area)...and many other times that song ended with "Of the world". Another Mandela effect I remember - the fast food restaurant Chick-fil-A being spelled Chic-fil-A with no "k". There are many others I remember, but those are strong memories for me without going on and on about other Mandela effects.

On the “I am your father”. I wanted to point out as a person that isn’t a starwars fan that I DO remember on Tommy Boy, there was a scene, Chris Farley was speaking into an electric fan saying “Luke I am our father”. I’m definitely from the old timeline (like AOK & the op above) but I was also a kid who obsessed over everything to do with space, stars, the moon, etc & and reading everything I could about ancient cultures, etc so I can confidently say that there has always been a “new moon” stage. And yes, it lasts about 2 days where the sky is dark & you can’t see the moon, the moon is not “gone” it’s still there we just can’t see it bc of a bunch of sciencey stuff I don’t feel like explaining rn. It’s also been referred to as the “dark moon” stage. Those 2 days have always been the best days out of every month to star gaze bc there is no light from the moon to dilute the sky & cause you to not be able to see as many stars.

They are called push up because you take peel off top and push from the bottom to raise it up to eat. when you're done, we'd spin it like a spinning top with round disk still attached.
