Big Brain moment. So I learned that when toss get +2 attack, they are able to kill anti recall mines before they hit. (TY WolFix). So big brain is using bunker + marine to draw the initial targeting from the recalled units so that the mines can safely pop up and hit. Put a ghost in there and u can pop out and lock down the arb to cancel the cloak. to speed up the clear. this eases the burden to save scans for defensive anti arb. Here are the relevant details for consideration: 1) you cannot realistically hit every emp and deny arb abilities 2) a safety covert ops is 50/50, u need the sci facility for vessels regardless. you need the 50/50 control tower for vessel, that could substitute the covert ops cost. 3) Vessels cost 100/225, each ghost is 25/75. and also theres no conflict with production on the Rax, the starport could be used for wraith or dropship. EMP and Lockdown have same cost 200/200 and similar research time, but neither are relevant chokepoints. 4) Vessels build in 55 sec, ghosts in 31 sec (same as tank) so you can put the rax to work. emp and lock down are both 100 energy cost, so although vessel has wider utility, the ghost for its sole purpose of anti cloak, can not only make two ghosts for cheaper in the same time, they'd start building up energy for their active ability earlier. 5) Effects under Stasis: Vessels have a turret that must turn to target an arb before firing, so there's often a situation when the vessel is stasised before firing it's emp. If an arb uses stasis, it will instantly cast, so not only will the emp loses value to drain energy, but the vessel also loses its value to detect while stasised, as well as the need to keep it alive. If you solely use lockdown for disabling cloak, lockdown targets the arb and will fire as soon as ghost is in range (8, same as stasis & emp) and still maintain its utility regardless of ghost's fate (stasis or death).

I can see a future where terran makes more marines and more bunkers into the mid game. The way i see it, bunkers are an amazing defensive structure because they don’t suffer from mines, so they can be both a nuisance and a mine trap for dropping zealots.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but it should be *OBVIOUS* that this ENTIRE GAME, *the protoss was simply TOYING with Scan...* I mean... *HOW often* do you see a supposed *"PRO" game* in which one of the players goes up to 7 (SEVEN) bases (almost 8, in fact), *in just 19 minutes* ?! *EXAMPLES:* 09:20 -- After taking down the E-bay, the Protoss was too cautious with his proceeding forward. Had he been a bit more assertive, he could have cuased *A LOT more damage.* Seriously... *EVEN AT THE COST of losing A LOT of goons,* he was SO FAR AHEAD economically, that it would have been worth it to *just KEEP GOING.* 11:20 -- The protoss's *temporary* failure to bust this *has NOTHING to do with the much-praised by Arty "supreme bunker placement"* ... The toss simply fumbled his drop control (and that of the dropped units), and failed to ascend the ramp correctly with his goons. Look at them grooving mindlessly in circles !! :D *FROM THEN ON,* this entire "game" was simply a process of "going-through-the-motions" ... The Terran never lastingly securing another base, whereas the Toss was expanding *AT WILL !!!* .
