But if you don't use too much it'll last for a while, the bigger issue with xylene is it dries really fast and really well, so it'll turn to clay in a marker if you don't use it fast enough. Might make the mop soft, gotta be careful with what ones you use xylene in but for the most part it's pretty good as long as you aren't overdoing the xylene content. I'm trying to find a good source for black pigment right now cuz I'm not thrilled with pen ink pigments (and how long they take to harvest) but xylene is a fucking fantastic solvent, the drips are absolute lasers, falling straight off the lines you draw, no "line drag" as I call it where the whole line will pull into the drips- it also seeps pretty deep into things so its sex for staining pigments. Honestly you could probably add a few drops of xylene to your favorite marker and it would slap, test to make sure they mix inside a bottle cap first and if they do, just watch and see how smooth it makes your ink. I would say like, 1 drop per 10mm of ink.

You made my day by using this mop.. and mentioning what it is .. its a shoe polish mop and what u just did is what u do with it... and when the sponge eventually pops becuz before spring loading nibs and all the things that allow us to use all the sizes amd whT not... back to the point the sponge will fall off if it didn't i wouldn't be a big squeezy shoe polish mop.. when i happen tho just chill and tske a deep breath... no comes the hard part... there is gonna be a part of your brain that is ignorant to this old 70s classic subway destroying product... now i know ur gonna wanna throw it on the ground take a pic of the whole mess and only lasted 3 tags amd the dumpster wasnt all that rusty u hip up... instead you gonna do a move called.. (dang.. guess its tee shirt time) u dont have to say or think this but it was what usually was when thid happens... now some people have claimed when u reattached the sponge with a small cut of a white tee shit and floral wire makes it write better and allows you to tag more semi smooth surfaces... just remember this thing aint no k60.. but that ok becuz classics are classics... just imagine if u own a 70s muscle car... that would rule right? There's no reason to mention the brakes barley stop u how theres no power steering and how much gas it drinks for how little power all that nonsense things only.a Karen would notice.... never forget when u hit the street s with a shoe polish mop u are entering a time honored activity that was started here in America.. personally i try to write BACK TO BACK WORLD WAR CHAMPS publicly once a month.... merica
