I really like these because you explain everything fully. I will look out for your other Artrage videos. Do you have the new Artrage 5?

Sorry for such a long delay in replying! I've been studying but finished now so can get back into my art. I use the desktop version only and I haven't looked at Artrage 5 yet - will look into it now. Thanks :)

hi, thanks for your comment. I don’t use artrage anymore as this was before I got my iPad pro, which I now use for my digital art, and the ios app for artrage is much more basic than the older windows app so I use Procreate app. All the windows updates for artrage I got from their website. Any images I imported into layers. That design was included in my birds colouring in book. Cheers

Hi. Love this video, explained very well. Will all this be in ArtRage Lite? Or would I need to upgrade to a full ArtRage. Also are you working in Wacom Intuos Draw or Art or something else?! I'm worried I should spend more to get the Art to get all the features you're using.

Chris Baldock thanks for your message. I have an intuos pro tablet. The dektop program has a lot more functions than the android version. Im not sure what features the lite version has but I am very happy with full version as i love using stencils. I recently boght a samsung tablet and I did find the android version lacking so when i use my tablet i use medibang paint. Now i am mostly doing coloring pages so mostly doing line art now. For the samsung, i jusy use a cheap stylus on it, has no pressure like intuos but i can live with that as i draw on my lap watching tv ;) when i want painting look i use artrage desktop.

LozsArt Thank you for your reply. I'd be using either the Wacom Draw or Art tablet with a laptop. I think I saw that the full ArtRage has a photo trace feature. Does it also have a grid feature that can be opened in a layer for proportional drawing from a photo open separately on screen? I'd rather do that to learn proportions than trace the outlines from a photo.

They recently added perspective grids and they also have normal grids. This is by far the most intuitive program I've used. I tried Coral Draw and Photoshop but you have to learn so much before you can do anything. This program is easy to just start drawing and painting, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get the full version.

Awesome video! Dear, a newbie question: when i upload the PDF file or other one, Artrage divides the layers by itself? Only could do this with PDF files?
@LozsArt7 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the long delay in replying, I've been studying and now getting back into my artwork finally! I don't think you can import pdf files? I usually only work with jpeg or png files depending on what my transparency requirements are. Each image imported will be a single layer, I don't think it will import layers unless it is an artrage file. Hope you're still using and enjoying artrage. Cheers

I have started studying, so haven't done any this month :( I will be publishing my celtic knots book as a coloring in app very soon too. Cheers
