I think it's easily adopted in some ways, though. Like instead of walking everyday to the market, drop in to the grocery store after work every couple of days, and then spend time at the park on the weekend with the kids. (ban videogames and cellphones for the afternoon). But I 100% agree that she's not looking down at other cultures, and ppl shouldn't take it that way. She's French, why would she write about an Indian or Greek or Middle Eastern lifestyle lol

I think it is like about all europe and asia where people are used to cook and spend a lot of time by eating something, not just throw it to stomach and go... Im from europe and in our family, we never had eaten something like fast food or semifinoshed products. We always cook, my mum can cook my grandma can cook my dad can cook I can cook.. =D thorouglhy prepared warm meal with love tastes much better than already done bought meal

She may have done a lot of good with her first book, but she is NOT an elegant French woman. Just look at her outfit on Wikipedia in front of the Abbaye de Senanques. Even my grandma (I'm French) wouldn't wear that!!

There is never any mention that they smoke? Thin, but die of smoking related illnesses!
@Rosebud4u12 жыл бұрын
yes, my nanna was a smoker, she looked so elegant doing it too... long thin feminine cigs... she died in her 90s from smoking, died while getting her leg amputated. She was tall & had amazingly graceful figure... she walked a lot too, had a small glass of sherry in the afternoon & was a great cook... but it was simple foods, not high end kitchen stuff you go out to eat! She was healthy until the smoking caught up... but that was how she obviously kept her weight down.

I'm sure not every girl in France eat the same thing, but what I want to know is, not to sound racist but just how much percent of the population of France has ethnic Gaulish French people? Specifically blonde French? hehe I'm naughty

6Islam raised the status of women and addressed her with her humanity and principles, and equalized her with discourse and duties with men- Islam singled out women in the largest wall of the Noble Qur’an, Surat An-Nisa - and the Messenger Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, praised all those who honor women - and demanded Hellfire for those who wronged her and cursed- Islam guarantees a woman a decent life throughout her life through inheritance rights and requires spending on her father, husband, and brother - and her right to work that does not jeopardize her dignity- A woman in Islam feels psychological security and stability whenever her body recedes, unlike the woman in the West - at this stage, (mother) Islam is considered the most obligatory respect and appreciation for the mother from all society, especially from children and grandchildren- Gaining the love and approval of the mother represents a path to heaven, and her anger leads to fire in Islam, which is considered the mistress of the family, and everyone loves to win her love - from time to time you find all parties presenting her with gifts- There is nothing in the Muslim family that worries the West about the flight of children from homes - the process of abortion, suicide and the dispersal of the family, which has become a prominent feature in the West in a frightening and increasing manner, and in most countries that claim the freedom of women, especially in girls- The Muslim woman with her veil is the one who owns her freedom, so only the one she loves can see her beauty - unlike the Western woman, she does not have the freedom to control her beauty in front of the owners of sexual frenzy- This is an overview of the Muslim woman. As for the Western woman, and her suffering, it will be at an upcoming date, God willing

In Islam, men rape women. Especially non-muslim women. In Islam, women are not allowed to remove thier veils outside the house. They are forced to wear the immodest hijab and dress, and Islamic men look at them, searching for a reason to attack them...out of lust. There are usually also other women, showing that the marriage is still like the pagans and Jews...unequal. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, equal to the Father, decreed that marriage is only one man and woman. If you lust after another, even if only in your mind, you are guilty of the sin of adultery, as He said. And you will be held accountable to God for your thoughts, words, and deeds. It's a crime to leave Islam, many have done so in secret ot are fleeing after being visited by Jesus Christ. Islam is one very big prison. God is so merciful and loves so passionately, He offers us the remedy. "Love thy neighbor, as thyself, for the Love of Me". You can't love another person more then you love yourself. You can never earn heaven, yet Jesus loves you so much He offers the grace freely. We are saved by Grace, and not by Faith alone. Yes, abortion is an evil that has been condemned explicitly by the Apostles and the Church Fathers. May God touch hardened hearts, and shower them with His mercy, may Love grow and sin decrease.
