There are many things to consider starting from the fabrics, trends, illustrations etc so I can suggest you to research the subject topic and prepare by reading on them. As a beginner you can read Vogue, online articles, research pinterest and other leading magazines and website to follow daily news and updates on fashion.

I do these free hand so no particular method but I would advise to draw the figure(focusing the garment) in a bigger scale to practice and understand pencil strokes. (Here I have used 10x6 inch space) For beginner lessons: kzbin.info/aero/PLt6Dx-dElqdZgCcWrhd4aT4tHVfEra0YV
