I created these ARTSY BOOKMARKS using the stuff I already have in my stash. I've really been enjoying the process of crafting without thinking about the entire process. I call it MINDLESS CRAFTING! You know what? You can put all the stitching on your work that you want. It looks lovely and makes your work look complete, which is different from it being done. Complete is just a little more than done and that's when it doesn't need anything else. Putting a border on your work contains everything and sends the eye back into and around the piece rather than letting it run off of it. I don't know if that makes any sense, but that's how I experience it.

My Pre-k class made bookmarks using paint strip cards from Home Depot. I think I'll make some using them along with my scraps. I plan to give journals for Christmas. Book marks would be great. Thanks for the idea.

You cards,are,so simple ansbeautiful,but there is one thing I want to mention"now the way you put together your mix,and match looks,so easy,but when try and mix match my cards don't come together,and what I mean by that,is that the colors don't stand out like your colors too me,so is just me not agreeing with the colors,or what?
