I will say this about them. It's really cool to have a mini keyboard from France in your house. It makes me feel like a better artist. Everything they make is high quality and made with passion.

Passion maybe but high quality…no. The knobs on every controller they make send ghost data after a short period in use. Had it with Minilab 2, Keylab 2, Keylab 2 Essential and Beststep too.

From the first glance I have to say that I am very impressed!!!. I consider astrolabe to be the long awaited sequel to the Origin keyboard. I won't go into detail about what I would like AstroLab to have. I just feel that the area of synths is now entering a new era of future design. I am sure that Arturia will continue to positively surprise us!!!

Wow. I'm no keyboardist and I don't perform on stage, so probably would never have an actual reason to grab Astrolab, but I'm really fascinated by the elegance of this approach. I hope it goes well for Arturia, the idea seems to be very well thought out. There is also something poetic about virtual synthesers (which were based on real hardware devices) - returning back to the hardware in this form. The circle is closed.

Whoever produced this video made a perfect job of recreating the 90s. And about that new instrument. Sounds okey, but the round screen would make me go crazy. I will continue use the plugins until the mark 2 with a proper screen.

Wished this had ipad integration so the tiny hard to see screen could be mirrored on an ipad for a way better viewing experience, or give us a bigger screen like the NI S MK II. That combined with more physical controls like the pads and sliders found on the keylabs, and this thing would have been perfect.

Thank you kindly for your life of music and supporting creatives in any stage. I made music (choppy, bad, but happy) hard techno in 1999 and then social norms took over and I dropped off until covid times. I rant. I'd love to see the same video but those that do speak French, do this announcement in your native language. I barely can understand French but I appreciate someone speaking in their language and expressing how they feel comfortable. It's beautiful.

Two mod wheels besides the pitch wheel would be good for performances. Also faders would have been nice for drawbar players. An integrated mixer for additional instruments/interfaces would also be useful for gig players.

@@koncreteto2758 , I will say right off the bat that the keyboard is excellent. It is my third keyboard and it is a conscious choice. And yes, 37 is just the perfect format for my tasks. What would you like to see in an update? Not so rigidly tied to the grid, for example. It would be great to be able to record the paternus exactly as you played it. A metronome would be nice. And it would be great to be able to combine arpeggios and sequences. And more ;)

good idea, but as at least 3 instruments in a split should be possible (piano, organ, synth). And it is getting very expensive if I need to buy all software synths in addition to create patches

I have lots of Arturia products, but I don't like the Augmented plugins and would never consider a poor design like this Astro-nomically priced product with the silly display (and only 61 keys - doh!). Please replace the form-over-function marketing morons and bring back the clever people to Arturia. You've lost me - every announcement from Arturia is now just an overhyped let-down 😢
