If you have time it would be interesting to go over vintage gear and talk about it and the experience you have had yourself in the studio with different hardware units thru the years. I'm using hybrid mixing myself and vintage hardwares, samplers, synthesizers in my studio. You always learn something new you didn't know about the original units, transformers. Example UREI, 1176, 1178 NEVE, SSL, LA2, EMI, DBX etc. 😊

Great video Mike, this looks like a great compressor to have in the arsenal. I wonder if they didn’t include the ABCD comparison because they have that undo list perhaps. Maybe they thought you could make your adjustments and then open the list and just select the different moves there instead of the ABCD?

I always felt that Neve came out with this to compete agains the SSL buss compressor but have never been able to confirm that.

Hey Mike, i just finished a mix with the last SSL channel strip and the free 360 application with my Raven (you can just use a mouse). WHAT A SOUND, this desk emulation is killer, i mean i'm beta tester for Plugin Alliance since years for exemple but SSL just nailed it. Can you make a video? You need the Channel Strip V2 and the Bus Comp V2 with the free 360 application Best regards

Agree 100%👍. I use the new V2 of Channel Strip and the new Bus Compressor and both are killers! Absolutely amazing 👏 sound! Build of the 9000k hardware. You should definitely check those out Mike. Really amazing new plugins. And 360 that comes with it makes it even more impressive. 👍

I also loved the SSL, the best I have ever had. In fact, I recognized the sound of an SSL, which had not happened to me before. The only thing is that it seems that it is not true that v.2 is an emulation of the 9000k, I read that v.1 is the same, and it seems to me that it is. In fact, the user manual has not been updated either! It also does not have the advertised "all EQ can be switched between E and G series features and can be applied to dynamic side chain" feature.
