This is so helpful, I can finally stop painting over the lines every time I fill! Saves so much time 👍 I was wondering if there is a technique for consistent lines? I’m quite a beginner and always unsure about how much pressure I’m applying on the canvas. So all my lines are really inconsistent

great tips Flo🤩. Also, on canvas size, if you think you might get your art printed(instead of just online/device display), google converting the print size to pixels or metric. I found that a 2000x2500 pixel canvas was really small so I have set up canvases for 8x10", A3, etc. Depending on your device, you might not have enough layer though so watch that. Also, wrapped canvas prints often require a bigger margin (50mm for example) so make sure your art doesn't go to the edges.

For the pixelation, if you still want to draw on a smaller canvas you can put dpi higher. I mostly draw on 600 because of all the litlle details I put in my illustration and if I print it on a higher size irs still looks good

Pretty cool video about problems vs solutions ! 👌🏼👌🏼 I have big difficulty to create my own brushes. The point is, when I draw any form and try to copy it and then paste it in brush settings, it doesn't paste anything... I tried many different ways to paste things but nothing happen. Same if i turn any form into image and then use it in brush setting, forms will be distorted... I didn't find a convincing tutorial on YT for now. Thanks for your help

Make sure the shape is merged with a white background and that the canvas or image you are importing is square

Started about a month ago, when I use the freehand tool if the stylus comes off of the screen the 2nd touch changes to paintbrush. To fix I keep the stylus on for at least a second.

Thanks for this video. I'm new to procreate and there's one thing I notice each time I use my brushes. Like is I draw a line or circle, the end point becomes bigger, like it blots and is darker. Such that the thickness of my line or circle is not even or the same all throughout. Another issue I noticed is that my brushes are wobbly, they are not smooth even if I use a brush that is supposedly smooth on the sides. Are there ways to address these issues? Thanks!

Thank you for so many great tutorials! As a longtime PS user, I am used to creating very large, densely pixelated canvases and then if I need to create a thumbnail I just reduce the size of it. But in Procreate when I do that it becomes severely pixelated, which is the opposite of what I think it should do. Is there something that I’m doing wrong, or that I need to do when I’m trying to create a thumbnail or smaller canvas from a huge one?

I have an issue that's not on here. When resizing something using the move (arrow) tool, if I use my fingers to do it, being careful not to tap and just pinch in or out, often times everything within the moving/resizing square will just disappear, and I'll have to go back a few steps and try again. Normally I just end up using my Pencil to move and resize.

Thanks for this! I do have another issue though. I'm trying to blend some colours, but no matter what I use, it just looks... oily? There's never a clean blend, it just pushes the colour around and I can see layers of colours that won't blend together. That’s because a photo is already complete covered with pixels (white pixels aren’t ‘empty’), this is just what happens when you try filling an area that is already filled.

For the second mistake, your clipping mask was not working because maybe you fill out with the color of a canvas on a whole canvas in a single layer. I tried that out at once.
