Depending on where you live the water is not enough, during the hottest part of the day the water will get to warm for the fishes. Good idea, quite creative.

My only question is, how long does the umbrella last beneath before it begins to visibly deteriorate and what do you do at that point? I really enjoyed your creativity, it goes to show you really don’t need to buy supplies for a regular Koi fish pond. My brother had a plastic piece from a pool and made a pond out of the dirt under it. It took many hours and a lot of money. Great work 😀

Don’t put fish In the fountain if your summers are hot, the water will get to hot and kill the fish.

You’ll be fine as long as it’s in the shade and the water is filtered. Filtered puts oxygen in the water which also makes it cooler. That’s why people (like me) use the same idea for dog watering bowls in the hot summer states. I live in ga.

Fish , no ty. I had goldfish 8 yrs. I wanted them to go from natural causes. Nope. Dirty fish, ended up giving them to someone with a pond. I hope they lived out their life happier out of 10 gallon tank 😊

Fresh concrete with high PH kills poor fish! Not great for any organic life unless altered by seasoning or chemicals. Very sad waste of temporary life for cute decoration.

We live on a farm. there are ponds, some very small, some only little creeks, often some will dry….but inevitably fish show up….They get brought in on the feet of water birds. So keeping them in a place that has water and keeps water….what the heck is your problem? You must live in a damn city.

💙 Very creative and looks lovely, but if you are going to put fish in it, that amount is too many for size of pond, also you either need to seal the cement to stop chemicals seeping out into the water or the concrete needs weeks to cure, keep it filled with water, then before use, flush out with clean water a few times.
