Small tip for anyone else inspired to do small gang stuff when every ounce of DPS makes a difference. If needing to change ammo type on 1400mm arty (but need damage on shield tanked ships), cycle off, separate one or two guns and only switch ammo type with them, while continuing to fire with non unstacked guns one more cycle, then load new ammo into the remaining afterwards.
