I am a new member, well not really too new. All the videos I have watched are very informative but something is keeping me from putting glue to paper. I love the way you tell how you decide and why you wait when you are in doubt. I have cut tags and tickets and small file folders from old file folders some plain and some colors. Thank you for sharing and I'm going to get started. Every time I cook or shop I'm keeping my eyes open for things I can use. Already I have collected so much it is frightening! I better start soon before they haul me away! My hubby thinks I should have counselling. I know that once I start I won't want to quit. Thanks again. Bobbielee

I just hit pause during time stamp 17:06. You are mentioning that you really like doing these videos. I wanted to share, that I am working on a completely different project than you are, but I am working on my book while you are working on your book. It is like we are making books together. I am really enjoying this craft with me. Now I have someone to craft with. Thank you. So interesting in seeing your tips and tricks. I am learning so much, but not really commenting like I should be. To fun to craft with you. THANK YOU, as I continue to watch your series and work on my journal with you.

I am really enjoying your Filling and Decorating videos! I like watching your process because you explain why you're doing things and it's very interesting - stamping lighter for things far away and darker for things close-up. I can hear you perfectly! :-)

we here on the east coast , US pay less shipping from the UK than we do from the US west coast..I have noticed mod podge matte is actually more like a satin as opposed to matte .The green owls tissue paper is nice that and napkins seem to be perfect applications for these projects ..wrapping paper might be good too ..I have been very busy tea coffee and hibiscus staining papers ..word up sperilina may work well in soap base but its a real mess on paper lolol

Thank you for helping us! Now I have a tip for you! Look up how to decoupage napkins using acetate. It’s brilliant, very few wrinkles or tears! Sorry I don’t know the web site but let me know if you don’t find it easily and I’ll loo back through my saved videos! Love your work! Thank you for all your hints and tips!💕

Andrea, it's from the V&A. It's the Victoria & Albert Museum, one of their art supply lines. They've brought out a 12x12 paper pack now & everything. I only know cos I zoomed in & caught it out of the corner of My eye but yeah, that's who makes the tissue paper with the Owls on it. I never find stuff like that when I go to TK Max & it's absolutely gorgeous xx P.S. On the V& A site You can explore their collections & the artist behind this is CFA Voysey 1857-1941

ha! I managed to order some of this tissue paper called "The Owl" from a site called Calanope gifts.com or .co.uk They have 3 packets left on there if anyone else is interested. I'm like a blood hound when I want something for Journals lol xx

I watch how you put things together and think look how wonderful but when I attempt to do it I think what a mess you have made now Lol. I just am not free enough in my thinking or confident enough in my results. Hopefully I will get there if I keep learning from all you fine crafters.

Tell me what kind of glue is in your jar? Is it glue and water? Just wondering. Love how it's coming along.

Nancy Beebe yes glue ( pva or modge podge). 2 parts glue 1 part water. X
