If only today could be like the 90s, everything was off the chain back then. A damn magical time.

I love this song, but I can't find anything about this group.
@coolflex17 жыл бұрын
I can tell you all about this group. This group was originally called Cipher Of Sounds. A famous deejay and hip hop group from Jamaica, Queens created by Tony Moore(UG)in the early 1970's that battled against other pioneer dj's around the city in that era like Grandmaster Flash, etc. Cipher Of Sounds leader's name is Tony Moore aka U.G. Tony later transformed himself into a producer and created a R&B group called Artz & Kraftz which consisted of 3 members: Mitchell(Lead singer), Sham(musician) and lead producer and arranger Tony Moore. Tony put his tremendous sound system aside and created a music studio on Linden blvd & 144st called M.I.D.I 8 Recording. In this studio, he worked with artists ranging from Jeff Redd, Mary J.Blige, Father MC, Frick & Frack to Wu-Tang Clan even before they were officially called The Wu-Tang. Working with Jeff Redd before Jeff Redd was signed to Uptown Records, Tony Moore did a single for him called "Come And Get Your Lovin" which brought the attention of Andre Harrell and UPTOWN RECORDS. Once Tony showed his groups material, Andre was very interested but Tony Moore wound up being managed by Uptown employee Kurt Woodley of JDW Ent. Artz & Kraft later went on to sign with Columbia Records and then Motown Records. You can get their whole discography on KZbin
