Thanks Dad... Very nice coverage of the product... I work for HPE supporting the AIO products and I love them so much, I decided to buy my own 1930 8-port POE switch with 2 AP12s and a AP11D for my home... Nothing could be simpler or reliable... They just work...!

I just got into networking and saw the ubiquiti equipment and grabbed the dream machine(not rack version) and although I like it the other equipment for POE is a bit more expensive than I am willing to afford atleast right now. Thanks for the review!

Is it possible to turn off all the lights on the switch?

I went with the 1930 and an AP22. Chose cloud managed for the switch because the AP is only cloud managed and I only wanted one centralized management console for both. Went with the HP lineup because it was a lot cheaper than Unifi. Wish I would have spent the money on Unifi because there are so many more how to videos online for Unifi. Also the switch has missing features if you opt for cloud managed instead of local managed.
