I'll admit, I didn't think you and Robert would like Virgin but looks like you all had a blast! Eagle Beach looks amazing, hope I get to go somewhere like that before I die. I would love to go on a cruise. Wish I had seen all these videos when I was younger and could walk without pain. Maybe one day

I hope you get to go! Lots of people with mobility issues are cruising everyday! Our friend cruises with a scooter and loves it! Lots of people rent them from companies that deliver and pick them up on the ships. Sending you hugs!

If Virgin is your first cruise the bar will be set very high. It is different from other lines, they seem to still be improving things but so far they are doing great in our book. Watch for our review video soon! Hugs!

Thank you my friend! We had such a great time. Going as a group will be fun! With the trivia's, they keep them in groups of 6 so lots of fun to play! AND so many places to sit and chat or play a game or relax and watch the sea go by! Oooh! I have not really shown the live music yet but WOW it was SO GOOD! Tonight's vlog is Scarlet night! Are the taxis close to the port in Aruba? Are they safe? Will they take you to other beaches besides Eagle Beach?

Rumor has it that Dual Reality will have a few venues on land that you can go see it. Dang it, I can't remember where I saw that, it was on a vlog page. Maybe with Doug Parker or Tony in the past few days. Sometime the week of 2/12/24. Mid week'ish.

Hey lady, quick question! On that van to Eagle Beach, I noticed "Wheelchair Accessible". Did it have a lift like they use for mobility scooters? Thanks :)

Hi! I am not sure if that was a lift or a ramp. If you stop the video at 05:39 you can clearly see it. They do have vans with lifts but you will have to request it outside the gates and possibly wait for a little bit for it to arrive. There is a Taxi stand inside the terminal but I did not see it in front of the Virgin ship, it was down in front of the other ship in port and I am not sure you would be able to get to it. When we sailed Regal it was right in front of our ship. There are no sidewalks at the beach so make sure you can get through the thick sand in your scooter. Donna had to walk a little bit and Carl pushed her scooter, the sand is really soft. In this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqHMiHSdfdFsedk when we went to Baby beach! Hugs!

Do they take dollar coins? We are going next year and was wondering if that would be better to take? Also, do you leave you things on the beach at your chair when you go into the ocean?

Do you mean American silver dollars? I am not sure what you mean by dollar coins. And We did leave our things on the beach but we have waterproof belt bags, linked in my amazon store in the video description box that we swim with that hold our phones/wallet/cash etc.. In all my cruises I have never had anything stolen, not that it can’t happen it has just never happened to me. Aruba is beautiful! Have fun!

When Virgin first stated their cruises I wasn't sure t was for me. I am more into the traditional ships since I have been cruising since 1988. Those ships were more like the old ships that crossed the Atlantic. The Vrgin ships just seemed to be too contemporary. Too modern in style. BUT your videos and both yours and Robert's impressions of the ship has me rethinking the Virgin brand of cruising. You are getting me to want to book a cruise on a Virgin ship. The growing on me. LOL

Virgin is very different but in a good way. They seemed to have picked the biggest complaints of most cruisers and tried to improve upon them. The entertainment is very different and so, so much fun! The entertainment team are very different to other lines but most like the team on Princess. They are everywhere! There were a few things we did not like and will go over those in a video but they weren't awful and they were minor. The ship was very contemporary but not cold and the rooms were for sure different but we really got used to them and really ended up liking them ( still needed more counter/desk space and a couch or a regular chair).
