This is really ordinary "oriental" music arranged for a string quartet. I don't understand what is creative about this?! I mean, folkloric material can sometimes be absorbed into some works, such as the works of the first Ligeti, Messiaen, Steve Resch and others, but here the matter is much simpler than that. It is just music that can be done by any non-professional musician from Asia and the Middle East! I really have doubts about these channels on KZbin, which I think do not have any standards and deep knowledge in music, Use the term "contemporary" to pass everything!!

Did you just say this music is simpler than Steve Reich...the minimalist composer?

@@nebalmaysaud3826 I didn't mean simplicity as an artistic approach or style, but rather that the treatment of matter in the works of the composers I mentioned as examples has an innovative in the compositional sense While here we see simpler than to be called a composition it is really ordinary "oriental" music arranged for a string quartet By the way. Some of the repeated patterns in Steve Rich's music are not at all simple from an aesthetic point of view, despite the simplicity of the treatment!!
