Arunachal: 5 NPP MLAs back Pema govt, takes strength to 59 in 60-member Assembly

The National People's Party (NPP), already an ally of BJP in northeast under North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA), has extended its unconditional support to Pema Khandu-led BJP government in Arunachal Pradesh.
Arunachal Pradesh NPP president and also an MLA, Thangwang Wangham said, "We gave a courtesy call to the Chief Minister. Before the elections we had declared that Pema Khandu will be our Chief Ministerial face.
