Tezu: ₹36 Crore Indoor Stadium Left Incomplete
Sanctioned in 2018 under the Sports Department, the ambitious indoor stadium project in Tezu was entrusted to T.K. Engineering & Consortium Pvt. Ltd. However, since its inception, construction has been inconsistent, and all work has been at a standstill since October 2023.
This prolonged delay has not only hindered the progress of the project but has also led to rampant encroachment around the stadium premises. With no visible progress or accountability, the future of this multi-crore project remains uncertain.
Why is the government silent on such a significant infrastructure project? Why aren’t necessary actions being taken to address this stalemate?
