India is a multi ethnic country, with over a billion population. We have many problems and poverty is perhaps the foremost. Even then I will never try to sell my country by highlighting its problems and poverty, and get paid for such lectures in America and Europe. I admire Arundhati Roy's writing, her independent thinking with a totally different perspective, which is her very own and original, but still I'll never betray my country to others, just as we do not highlight our troubles and problems in the family to our neighbours and others, who knows nothing of our own piece of the world, which is complex and not easy to survive. I will always like to solve our own problems within the family itself, instead of telling others of our problem and make them spicier by telling all the dirty secrets, and copile themin book form,most of thecontent is perhaps fictitious or fantasy, but they do make a good gossipy and juicy story to make, for the anglophile readers round the world, which gives them more fodder to hurl abuses at us and which justifies the British theory that Indians cannot rule themselves that they need a foreign country to rule them for tranquility, while they take our resources fro under our nose and make India their captive market, and leave us all poor. India has come a long way since independence from the British colonial rule in August 1947 and no author, however good, emotional and romantic may be such as Arundhati Roy, who are impressed by the rebels can undo all that we did to make India once more great and a country to reckon with. Personally I admire Arundhati Roy for her writings and thinking, and she has given her side of the story, which I appreciate, but I cannot admire her, for painting India bad to a foreign audience, who knows nothing more than what a Martian would do of those who inhabit the earth.

One thing is true. India used military on North East since independence 1947 and Kashmir since 1989. India never used military on the unrest and revolt in red belt where people look typical Indian look.

How many exalted Gandhi and she exposed this image .
