Nice video. At the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 I bought 25 shares of Nike (NKE) for $68/share and now it’s at $172. I also bought 40 shares of both Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH). I haven’t made too much from the cruise lines yet but I’m hoping once they start sailing again and at full capacity that I’ll make a good bit of money, but until then I will continue to buy a few shares every payday.

I wanted to learn more about this platform since I recently opened an account (about a week ago). This video was informative. If only the platform would actually work. I am unable to purchase shares in a second stock even though funds are cleared and the platform clearly states funds are available. Now there's an issue display accurate and correct information. If this is even remotely the norm I won't be transferring my current portfolio or utilizing TD Ameritrade.

I'm just now exploring TD Ameritrade. Is there a way to schedule to buy/sell at pre-determined prices so I don't have to constantly watch it? For example.. today Ford closed at $4.49. If I wanted to wait until Ford dropped to $3.95 to buy.. could I set it up in advance? And then set it to sell if it increases to say $8.00?

I wonder how many people use the website for TD over the app. I'm a huge fan of TOS. I really like TD's DRIP program. It was the same as Scottrade's as well. Schwab is a little lacky as it's just a binary option. :( 15 years ago I broke the PDT rule and was restricted for 90 days. That was how I learned what PDT and 25K margin account was.

TD Ameritrade doesn’t currently offer the option to directly buy fractional shares...but I’m hoping the large brokerages like them will start doing it soon. It would be a good marketing point for sure.
