I have Cengage of Physics and Mathematics. Both of books are excellent. Buy only one book and do it COMPLETELY. You will automatically clear your every concept. Only one book read 'completely' will boost your confidence and score. The video was good indeed.No book is bad. Every book is best for a book lover - a bookworm as I seem I am.

I prefer, For a basic understanding Combo 1) (i) HC VERMA + RHK (ii) Previous year Questions (iii) Complete physics book of any publication (For revision) Combo 2) (i) Physics Galaxy (ii) Previous year Question (iii) Complete physics book of any publication (For revision) This is enough for JEE mains If you are preparing for Olympiad and JEE Advanced you need to solve (i) Problems in general physics by I.E Irodov, (ii) Aptitude problems in physics SS Krotov, (iii) Pathfinder physics olympiad and JEE advanced, (iv) Art of problem-solving in Physics (2 volumes), (v) Elementary Statics and Dynamics by SL Loney. You should choose only one combo. If you study combo 1, you don't need to go through combo 2 and vise versa.

DC Pandey is good for basics.Cengage has way more problems than DCP.Pathfinder is too good for problems .If you really love physics do refer Introduction to mechanics by klepner and kolnkow and introduction to classical mechanics by David Morin.

But there are two books by the name resnick and halliday. One is just called the "Physics" and other is "Principal of Physics" and its the second one which is considered good by many and which is closer to the original resnick halliday because both of them are just the modification of the original one. One is modified by Krane and other is by Walker. Original book is out of production now.

Thank you so much for your excellent suggestions. I loved your suggestions for both Maths and Physics. I loved your suggestions over many others which I explored on the net. As per me Resnick & Halliday for concept clarity and H C Verma for its excellent problems (and concepts in summary) should be sufficient. Previous Years' Questions (PYQs) should also be worked upon for each subject (students should set a timer in the later phase of preparation). I believe Irodov is not hard. We must cover the basics of Integral calculus and the concepts of physics before attempting it. For physics lovers, I would like to suggest Krotov more than Irodov. Can you please help me in determining the material for Modern Physics? If possible, can you please suggest books for JEE chemistry.

All the books mentioned here are good but we have to also keep in mind that there's just a couple of years to complete them. Please don't overwhelm yourself with too many books. Buy just one set of books on top of ncert and try to read them thoroughly. That will be more than sufficient.
