Grandiose upload. One finds in Pärt's music the same healng repose, peace and calmness that one can find in some middle age and Renaissance music (Desprez Josquin, Dufay Guillaume - Missa Ecce concilla Domini)

Dieu n'est qu’un glorieux et rassurant concept et j'admire et vénère parfois les actes, les écrits & chants des hommes dont il est l'inspirateur _______ God is only a glorious and reassuring concept and I admire and sometimes venerate the acts, the writings and songs of the men and women of which he is the inspirer.

Arvo Pärt found the transcendental part of music, and was able to touch it at will
@BsBellamy2 жыл бұрын
You don't know what 'transcendental' means.

@@BsBellamy Weird comment. Did you just stumble upon Kant on Wikipedia and now think it's the only meaning of the word 'transcendental'? Genuinely curious.
@BsBellamy2 жыл бұрын
@@musikinspace Who I am is not relevant, is it? If you must know, I teach philosophy. What meaning do you give to that word?
@musikinspace2 жыл бұрын
@@BsBellamy If you remember I never asked who you were, but I suspected you were a philosophy fan to insist that a word be used precisely as it is used in philosophy. But the same word can have different uses outside jargon. In this context I meant there is something raw about music that is more than the sum of its notes and the patterns in which they are arranged.
@BsBellamy2 жыл бұрын
@@musikinspace That's exactly my point. This word has not this meaning and there's no need to use such technical terms to say this.

"God's Own Lullaby" By Kerrie Lynn Robinson (March 16, 2004; refined May 6, 2022) Possibly too awesome to consider implying so much taking a point in infinity way out there even for a farsighted person, a point in infinity slamming into my eyes all places all at once a point in infinity I might dare seek to behold. What would I find in this "single point" in infinity? A single point in and of and around and through God I by some miracle might reach? More God. More God. More God. Following impulse to dream I dream what I might do for my God as I'm there all so everywhere and all so all all this time. What if I free female and free will were first in all creation dedicated by all coming creation to play a particular role to play Mother of God when the time came to be ripe? Might I now and then at the very start of creation sing a soothing lullaby lasting unto forever? If I from the start already full of grace could bring a moment of grace to my creator by just one heartfelt song? My God opportunity you give singing your song caressing your brow calming cares you might conceal opportunity I love from the depths of my soul. My God I am here for you infinite for me. Do you know I believe I am true so true and so true? I am singing for you. Take the rhythm given my heart connected to rhythms of you and calm Dear Lord God I am here miracle that I am accept this miracle of me I endow and be calm becalm and be calm. I love you Lord God True God of all creation. I love being human before being human and so much of all this being entails. You have done well My Lord God. I commend you and love you. Lay gratitude across your forehead your shoulders if there be such things. Take love this innocent love transforming to song pleasing to you. My peace Dear Lord God my peace I give unto you easing the hurts in your own heart and soul the hurts we know are to come are to go. I love you Dear God I love you forever part of creation your mother this moment submitting unto you the vibrations of song motherly love. Bless thee Dear One I bless thee I bless thee I bless thee forever and ever and ever amen. #
