You should do one on Silverstein in the Atlanta riot. Pretty crazy. There's actually recording of Tom telling the story.

FYI - In the 1980s, US BOP correctional officers were prohibited from carrying any kind of protective or defensive gear inside the FCI compounds, and housing units. The only authorized equipment was a "body alarm", two-way radio, handcuffs and keys. The only place where deadly force was authorized, were from the towers, parameter rolling patrol, during inmate transport (airlift, buses & vans) and in the apprehension of inmate escapees. The officers on the tower duty, parameter patrol, and transporting inmates were issued 38 revolvers, 12 gauge shotgun w/00 buck shots, and semi-auto carbine rifle. Weapons (lethal) are prohibited inside the correctional institutions, the only authorized personnel to use non-lethal (CS pepper spray/canisters, stun grenades) were the SORT team. That has been the standard operating procedure for years, US DOJ/BOP policy makers were of the position that inmates can easily over power COs, disarm them, take over the institution, cause serious bodily harm to inmates, and staff. I don't know if those policies are still in effect to this date. Even the Armory was located outside the parameter fence, even the sidearm lock boxes were located outside the main entrances for the US Marshals, and other LEO agencies. Mil/LEO Analyst Retired

Yeah, I remember D.V.I. had a similar policy, the tower guards could shoot on the yard but inside the cell housing they could only use gas. The whole place smelled like tear gas, your laundry every thing, it was like a permanent odor.

@@GREENLITGANGTV the people in charge hate having someone better below them. My friend Rob Kirk was in Cco 1/87 Inf 10th Mountain in Somalia. They recovered bodies from Courage 53 a week before BHD, Blackhawk down. Dale Schrader got a silver star, they got CIBs 30 years later. The Rangers they rescued got silver stars. The forgotten bastards of modgadishu. Crazy. Google Dale Schrader.

Did the judge sentence them to isolation or are the guards extrajudicially punishing prisoners (per usual)

I have found God multiple times and can speak from experience that he has saved my life so many times. I love him and grateful for everything. He’s given me in my life. However, every time I get out of jail there is this demon that follows me around and will not allow me to remain sober. You can say I’m weak, or stupid, or just playing lost but I love Jesus and he died for my sins. I just always find a way back to getting inebriated and no, it’s a demon.

No your none of the above brother trust and believe your not alone. I've walked that road many of days, weeks, months, and years! I'm 42 and I've thrown everything away careers, family, wife and kids for that life! I'd go in get clean strong healthy and full of piss and vinegar waiting for the door to open at my new lease in life just to go straight to the dopeman the minute it does, your not alone. I've been sober for 2 years now for the 3 time and finale time. I've been arrest free and jail or prison free for 15+ years as well. In the end it's your decision and you've got to make it for yourself no one else. Just remember this tip: People, Places and Things. You fix those 3 issues and you'll make it you have to drop everyone that's bad for you or using period no exceptions, stop going to those places you know you shouldn't be at and dont involve yourself in things that dont need your attention. It's hard very very hard but you'll make it guaranteed
