The mother didn't teach him anything. Also if you wanna teach a person you should at least ask what made them do as they did. The mother neither asked what actually happened between Hamna and Hamza and neither did she teach her son anything afterwards. All she did was yell at him that he will never be forgiven and die a sinner. Then she abandon him to sit lonely in his room like a mental person. What a great mother. The mother did the exact opposite of teaching her son.
