Goats and chickens are great. I might follow up with pigs anywhere that I want gardens.

They do good work! I’d give them a salary raise🤣🤣🤣🤣!!! Seriously, you treat them well for all the “work” they do. Thank you. I care for animals very much. Looks like you’re very aware of things to do/have in case of emergencies. All the best to you. P.S.: I’m a new subscriber and look forward to your adventure!😊

Thank you! We will expand this initiative by increasing the number of goats
I am a disaster preparedness instructor with 25 years of experience. You are right about information being important. Check with your local fire department and civil defense organizations and see if they have kits provided by the government to give out. Sometimes they come with little radio's. Also being in the country they would love to have new volunteers to educate and most times will train you in local threats and introduce you to the right people to know in the event something goes wrong. A lot of the old timers will have extra gear stashed away and will share with you. Just show up to a meeting with donuts and be willing to learn. Also a set of jumper cables for your car can be used to charge extra car batteries for power if you just let you vehicle idell for a bit. Be cautious with oil lamps as they make for a bad fire hazard. Being in hilly country look at having the hillside behide you anchored with poles or heavy stakes to prevent landslides. Old telephone poles work great for this. The power company will give these away Sometimes. I hope this helps.

I bought two goats to replace a twice a month weed eater process. In two months the grass was so short I had to find a secondary source of grass for the goats. We ended up eating the goats. They also had a kid that is now up at our vegetable garden eating weeds. I found out that goats don’t like bending down to eat grass. They much prefer weeds and branches chest level or higher. They ate all the lower branches off the shrubs/trees and then ate the grass. Still much cheaper than the weed eater.
Beside goat as natural weed eater, goat urine will drive snakes away... its common method here in my village to kept a goat just to drive the snakes away from chicken coop... You got yourself free snake repellent :D

I know Japan is known for natural disasters but I really get annoyed at EVERY Japanese chanel I follow advertising power banks all the time., I do like your videos though.
