Sometimes when I eat sushi it's nice to have some ginger to chew on between each course as it helps to cleanse the palette so I can taste the next dish without my taste buds still being affected by whatever it was that I ate prior. This mix was like that for me. The rabbit hole was an intense trip. It was deeply personal and by the end of it I was a bit shaken. I had a dream for that series and it worked and it kinda fucked me up to be honest. It was totally worth it, but still... I felt for me to continue making mixes like this I needed to do something different. Each rabbit hole was a direct, focused and intentional mix that took a path that I saw and steered towards. This mix is a 100% freestyle, whereas the rabbit holes were very thought out and took some time to do. Making this was fun, without any pain and just an enjoyable trip through music. I needed that to sort of wash the rabbit hole off of me so that whatever I do next it's free, fresh and goes somewhere different. It's about balance essentially, I make a lot of these mixes and it's important for me to take steps so that it doesn't become dead, dull and without the energy and spirit that makes these mixes worth doing. So it was about balance, fun and remembering why it is that I do what I do. I have a tendency of being a bit heavy, so I needed to make something that was less so. As above, so below :)

Yes, I recognize quite a few of the tunes. Hope this warm shower will aid you to become the better artist self that you transpire against. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and go smaller and just try to experiment and have fun. I get it. This also has a lot of the more chill witch house soundscape I personally prefer. So its easy listen. Elevator muzak for my home, lol.
