Such peace and beauty. I'm lying in bed at almost 2am, unable to sleep, so I turned to your video for the birdsong, wind chimes and listening to the breeze through the trees, such a blessing. In a time of such sadness, an extended family member passed yesterday from this awful virus, you really are an oasis of calm amid the storm. I don’t know about the fire there but most of these fires are sadly not accidental. I live in Ireland aswell & a couple of weeks ago during lockdown I had to call the fire brigade as the mountain range outside my sitting room window was on fire. It had been very windy all day & it’s an illegal time of year to be burning the gorse & heather. Three fire trucks had to come out & were there until the early hours of the morning trying to stop the fires spreading to the huge Sitka spruce plantations around it. What a horrific waste of our precious emergency services! These fires were deliberately caused by farmers as it will give their sheep more grazing. It’s illegal this time of year due to nesting birds like our endangered hen harriers which are supposed to be protected! These are the same farmers that are given huge subsidies from tax payers & yet destroy the countryside! No other industry in Ireland is so heavily supported & subsidised yet do so much harm! Also rarely do farmers get fined or prosecuted! Really appreciate your videos especially during this time - thank you 🙏

We were able to get the carrots, lettuces, kale, spring onion planted in the raised beds today. We fortunately have rain coming in tonight and through tomorrow. Hard rain is predicted so will be an indoor day. I have the ingredients for a ricotta quiche and a choc cake for the men. Loved listening to the bird song. We have robins, magpies, woodpeckers, chickadees, and great horned owls in our trees here. Plenty of eagles, hawks, and osprey about. Still waiting on the lilac hedge to bloom, but my daffs are out.

I once steeped Thyme in hot water then once cooled strained and gargled, what a wonderful remedy and relieved me of my sore throat overnight! Amazing. I previously lived in the Blue Mountains in NSW - Australia and extremely use to fires 🔥.... your so correct about man .... what we’ve done 😞

A sore throat is common when the seasons change. Here in NM we deal with water concerns every month. The land has little organic matter in it aka high altitude desert. Frogs need little water and then they will move on. Glorious work C.

You have to be brilliant. I remember when you did the pond project but I would never have had a clue what to do about the leaking pond. That is such a great story. It is so beautiful to see that pond looking so beautiful. So they are not accepting mail from one place or another? That doesn’t make sense. Everything looks so green. I’m so glad. Great Job on the pond! And you seem to have your birds..and OUR birds! I have got to get going and plant more habitat and fruit bushes for the birds. Can't put out feeders because of black bears.
