Thank you for the question! Yes, students always want to know how much to write. I have given basic recommendations in the video as to the minimum amount for these questions. However, it depends on the student - some students can write really concisely and score marks with writing less than others. As for writing more, there is no direct correlation between length and quality of answers. I have marked many papers where students write pages and pages in their answers but score very few marks, as they are not focussed on the question or don't write in the context of the case study. "Quality not quantity!"

Sorry to hear about that, don't stress! If you do all three questions on Section B of paper 1 the examiner will mark all three questions and award you with the essay with the highest score. As with all exams when paper 1 is done forget about it and focus on paper 2. Good luck!

Sometimes the mark scheme says in it's notes Answers *might* include: • Candidates might begin with a definition of market share - The percentage of sales in a total market that are made by one business. Some students also like to define the keywords they use. You have more time in paper 1, so this may be possible. There is nothing which explicitly says you must define all keywords. The examiner will be able to award marks for knowledge and understanding from your detailed explanation of the key terms and concepts while answering the question.

Great question! It's really up to the examiners discretion, however, Cambridge do a good job of figuring out all the possible answers, so in my experience it's rare to credit an answer which is not already on the mark scheme.

As far as I am aware, AS and A2 are treated as different components so you should just be able to repeat A2 (paper 3) if required. Please check this with your exams officer at school or Cambridge directly as I'm not responsible for resits etc. Hang in there! Paper 3 is really tough and everyone finds it challenging. Which question and which paper? There is no negative marking on Cambridge exams so if you get the definition wrong you won't be deducted marks. It will then be up to the examiner to assess the rest of your answer.

Do you mean completing both courses in one year? It's certainly a challenge but not impossible. It really depends on your how hard you are willing to work, the support you have and your current ability so it's a tough call.
