Thank you! Transposing to G is a great idea to simplify it for beginners and/or experienced guitarists catching up with practice after setbacks such as recovering from an injury. I started learning to play in the '70s, played Metal in garage bands from 1979 to 2002, and just getting back to practicing regularly again (with ten screws and a steel plate in my shoulder) this year. Your 'cowboy chords refresher course' version is a great one for my situation. Again, thank you.

@FretmoreGuitarLessons It's fun to mix some of those Metal techniques into a Country song occasionally, like fretting C & D (1st & 3rd frets) notes on the B string and tapping mostly G notes at the 8th fret and hitting the A note at the 10th fret periodically. Since those are all root notes of chords from this version of the song, they're all in key and it sounds cool af with heavy overdrive. LOL
