Best instrumental mix I've seen on YT so far! Respect for not using the actual song as a backing track (IMO that is "cheating"). Your palm mutes sound super chunky and percussive. How did you achieve that in your mix? I'm using some free VST plugins like Emissary Ignite/Lepou and even playing around with multicompressors/EQs and quadtracking my guitars, I cannot get the huge chunky/percussive chugs like you do at 3:30. Thanks in advance!

Hey man, thank you! I actually dont so much to the guitars except EQ and sometimes a tiny bit of MB compression for the palm muting parts! Used the Neural DSP Cali plugin in this one, which sounds good right out of the box :)

Thanks! Some parts like the chorus are quad tracked, others are not :) I really have no idea, I just used a good amp sim and mixed it until it sounded good!
