As Israelis Endure Stressful Wait for Iran Attack, Analysts Urge Stronger US Warning to Tehran

JERUSALEM, Israel - From Tehran to Tel Aviv, the Middle East is anticipating an attack on Israel by Iran and its proxies. It's expected Israel's response will be much bigger than it has been in the past.
U.S. Centcom Commander General Michael Kurilla met in Tel Aviv on Monday with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Kurilla came to oversee the coalition to defend Israel from the expected attack from Iran and its proxies.
Meanwhile, in Tehran, Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of Russia's Security Council, met with President Masoud Pezeshkian. Iran's president described Russia as one of its "key and strategic allies," and said improving relations with Russia is among Iran's top foreign policy priorities.

Your understanding of the whole Middle East and its history seems to be sorely lacking maybe it is a time for a history lesson. It looks like you don't know your Middle Eastern history very well. Israel became a state in 1948, the day they became a state they were attacked by five Arab states who lost the war. Arab pride was deeply wounded that day, a day they never forgot. Israel aware that they may be attacked again in the future set forth a military plan that they worked on and practiced for ten years. Before the beginning of the six-day war in 1967 Israel through the use of military intelligence caught wind that they were going to be attacked the following day. Israeli Air Force having practiced for ten years for an event like this flew in and destroyed the Jordanian, Syrian, and Egyptian Air Forces. Israeli military forces were then able to defeat their Arab counterparts. This enabled Israel to take back Jerusalem which had been in the hands of Arab countries for two thousand years. Another war took place in 1973 the Yom Kippur War. Yom Kippur is the holiest day for Israel, it is the day in which all Israel reflect upon their sins and ask God for forgiveness. As a result of this Israeli troops came off their border positions believing that there was little or no chance of an invasion on that day. Arab nations drove deep into Israel overwhelming Israeli soldiers with military aid and equipment provided by Russia. Unlike the nineteen sixty-seven war, Israel's Air Force was unable to control the airspace as Russia had provided the Arabs with surface-to-air missiles which allowed Arab countries to attack with little or no resistance. The Arabs at one point came within ten miles of Jerusalem, with the help of the United States sending military equipment the Arabs were then repelled and lost yet another war. It should be noted that in 1948 through a UN vote that gave Israel statehood, the land was divided between Israel and the Arabs and every time the Arabs went to war they lost land to the Israelis. I have to believe a lot of what has happened in the last seventy-five years both politically and economically would have been different if the Arabs had not attacked Israel. Yom Kippur again, when Israel was attacked by Hamas on October 7, 2024, it was the fiftieth anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur War to the day. Everybody has talked about the occupation by Israel in the Gaza region, Israel occupied that area as a means of protecting their own citizens as well as providing economic and governance in the area. Israel withdrew from the Gazan Strip in 2005, and two years later Hamas came into power. Since that time Hamas has taken billions and billions of dollars of foreign aid meant to help the Palestinian people. Yet, they have chosen to buy weapons, build tunnels, and put them under schools, mosques, and hospitals. So tell me who has been the aggressor since 1948 and what governmental leadership builds tunnels under public infrastructure to store weapons and food to continue to continue jihad against one country. The question you need to ask yourself is why Arab nations continually go to war against Israel unless their ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel. Under the leadership of Yasser Arafat, he was given everything he had asked for in a two-state solution yet turned it down the agreements several times. Maybe a little history lesson will help you understand this conflict as it has gone on for over four thousand years. Are you aware of the fact that the Jews and Arabs are of the same father but different mothers which makes them stepbrothers? What is going on now goes back over four thousand years when God blessed both Issac and Ishmael and said they would be fathers of great nations and many people. Even though God blessed both men God made a covenant and promised the land of Judea to Abraham's son Issac, not his son Ishmael whose mother was Hagar a Bedouin woman and handmaiden of Abraham's wife Sarah. In the Bible in the Book of Genesis, chapter 16:12 tells us that an angel comes to Hagar in the wilderness after she is sent away by Abraham's wife Sarah. The angel says to Hagar, behold you are with child and his name shall be called Ishmael, "He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against them." It is through the words of the angel we see the true character and nature of all those who are descendants of Ishmael. If you came up to an Arab or Palestinian and that does not include all people but if you asked them why they hate the Jews could they give you a rational and intelligent reason as to why they hate the Jews? Have you ever asked yourself why all the rich Arab countries do little or nothing to help their fellow Arab Palestinians even though they have trillions of dollars? The reason Arab nations do nothing to help them is they want to leave the situation the way it is so they will be a thorn in Israel's side. Let's not forget when Palestinians tried to flee Rafah Hamas prevented this so as to use these people as human shields. Whether you know it or not we are not in the end times but in the last days, Bible Prophecy is on a collision course with current events. World history has come full circle, where it all began is where it is all going to end. Have you ever asked why the world is and has been fixated on the little country of Israel? Why not Mexico or Greenland or Italy for that matter, the Jews are God's people and he has made an eternal covenant with them. Life is short my friend, if you died tonight where would you be spending eternity? Who is going to atone for your sins, the Bible says salvation is from the Jews, and if Jesus isn't the Savior who is? Do you want to be saved not only from your sins but the horror that is going to be unleashed upon this earth that is only going to get worse culminating in the seven-year tribulation period? It looks like you don't know your Middle Eastern history very well. Israel became a state in 1948, the day they became a state they were attacked by five Arab states who lost the war. Arab pride was deeply wounded that day, a day they never forgot. Israel aware that they may be attacked again in the future set forth a military plan that they worked on and practiced for ten years. Before the beginning of the six-day war in 1967 Israel through the use of military intelligence caught wind that they were going to be attacked the following day. Israeli Air Force having practiced for ten years for an event like this flew in and destroyed the Jordanian, Syrian, and Egyptian Air Forces. Israeli military forces were then able to defeat their Arab counterparts. This enabled Israel to take back Jerusalem which had been in the hands of Arab countries for two thousand years. Another war took place in 1973 the Yom Kippur War. Yom Kippur is the holiest day for Israel, it is the day in which all Israel reflect upon their sins and ask God for forgiveness. As a result of this Israeli troops came off their border positions believing that there was little or no chance of an invasion on that day. Arab nations drove deep into Israel overwhelming Israeli soldiers with military aid and equipment provided by Russia. Unlike the nineteen sixty-seven war, Israel's Air Force was unable to control the airspace as Russia had provided the Arabs with surface-to-air missiles which allowed Arab countries to attack with little or no resistance. The Arabs at one point came within ten miles of Jerusalem, with the help of the United States sending military equipment the Arabs were then repelled and lost yet another war. It should be noted that in 1948 through a UN vote that gave Israel statehood, the land was divided between Israel and the Arabs and every time the Arabs went to war they lost land to the Israelis. I have to believe a lot of what has happened in the last seventy-five years both politically and economically would have been different if the Arabs had not attacked Israel. Yom Kippur again, when Israel was attacked by Hamas on October 7, 2024, it was the fiftieth anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur War to the day. Everybody has talked about the occupation by Israel in the Gaza region, Israel occupied that area as a means of protecting their own citizens as well as providing economic and governance in the area. Israel withdrew from the Gazan Strip in 2005, and two years later Hamas came into power. Since that time Hamas has taken billions and billions of dollars of foreign aid meant to help the Palestinian people. Yet, they have chosen to buy weapons, build tunnels, and put them under schools, mosques, and hospitals. So tell me who has been the aggressor since 1948 and what governmental leadership builds tunnels under public infrastructure to store weapons and food to continue to continue jihad against one country. The question you need to ask yourself is why Arab nations continually go to war against Israel unless their ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel. Under the leadership of Yasser Arafat, he was given everything he had asked for in a two-state solution yet turned it down the agreements several times. Maybe a little history lesson will help you understand this conflict as it has gone on for over four thousand years. Are you aware of the fact that the Jews and Arabs are of the same father but different mothers which makes them stepbrothers? What is going on now goes back over four thousand years when God blessed both Issac and Ishmael and said they would be fathers of great nations and many people. Even though God blessed both men God made a covenant and promised the land of Judea to Abraham's son Issac, not his son Ishmael whose mother was Hagar a Bedouin woman and handmaiden of Abraham's wife Sarah. In the Bible in the Book of Genesis, chapter 16:12 tells us that an angel comes to Hagar in the wilderness after she is sent away by Abraham's wife Sarah. The angel says to Hagar, behold you are with child and his name shall be called Ishmael, "He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against them." It is through the words of the angel we see the true character and nature of all those who are descendants of Ishmael. If you came up to an Arab or Palestinian and that does not include all people but if you asked them why they hate the Jews could they give you a rational and intelligent reason as to why they hate the Jews? Have you ever asked yourself why all the rich Arab countries do little or nothing to help their fellow Arab Palestinians even though they have trillions of dollars? The reason Arab nations do nothing to help them is they want to leave the situation the way it is so they will be a thorn in Israel's side. Let's not forget when Palestinians tried to flee Rafah Hamas prevented this so as to use these people as human shields. Whether you know it or not we are not in the end times but in the last days, Bible Prophecy is on a collision course with current events. World history has come full circle, where it all began is where it is all going to end. Have you ever asked why the world is and has been fixated on the little country of Israel? Why not Mexico or Greenland or Italy for that matter, the Jews are God's people and he has made an eternal covenant with them. Life is short my friend, if you died tonight where would you be spending eternity? Who is going to atone for your sins, the Bible says salvation is from the Jews, and if Jesus isn't the Savior who is? Do you want to be saved not only from your sins but the horror that is going to be unleashed upon this earth that is only going to get worse culminating in the seven-year tribulation period? Fall on your knees confess your sins repent of your sins and make Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life.
