I always have a lot of respect for vocalists that can do both calm and harder-hitting vocals without overdoing it. A lot of vocalists with this kind of singing just can't do "screaming" (although it's really not but still) without sounding like their voice is about to give out. Power to these guys.

I think every album has an "experimental song" that doesn't quite fit and pushed them out of their comfort zone a bit and I think this is the song for them. It's so amazing and the guitar is epic. Gotta love this band

I love this song and this album because it shows As It Is can vary up their content and use various styles, tones (both timbre of instuments and moods/emotions). It's just an incredible album. I loved Never Happy, Ever After, but a lot of the songs on it sounded very similar to one another. This proves they aren't just one of those artists that always produces the same kind of music, as some people I know feared they may be from hearing the similarities between songs on Never Happy, Ever After. This is a brilliant album and As It Is are a fantastic band.

"Soap" is one of my favorites of the album. There's just 2 problems: I can't understand what a few of the words are 'cause it sounds like "You say your jello song, With every wasted breath" (and I know it can't be "jello song") XD and it has the f-word, which doesn't bother me at all, but I can't really play it out loud around my family :( *Edit*: never mind about how I was mishearing the lyrics. Someone's figured it out; it's "You sing your shallow song."
