Sir at 44:03 shouldn't it be 0-4 in the denominator to find the gradient of AB? because gradient= y2-y1/x2-x1 and there the x2 is 0 and x1 is 4 so shouldn't is be 0-4?

There are two points: (4,0) and (0,2) If u make the first point (x1,y1) and the second point (x2,y2) OR first point is (x2,y2) and second point is (x1,y1) you'll get the same answer in both cases

49:49 had an exam and was given this sum. Made a mistake during the D coordinates. I wrote y=6, but I forgot equation AD and x. Stupid me wrote x=6. how many marks will lose?

So the perpendicular bisector of AB is basically a line that cuts through the midpoint of AB at 90 degrees. With this knowledge I can work out the gradient of AB using the (M1*M2=-1) perpendicular gradient rule, which in this case is 1/2 as @plush299, was trying to explain. Then I would need to work out the midpoint of the line AB, which I can work out in terms of p and q. Which would result in ((8+p)/2 , (3+q)/2). Then i can also write the the gradient of AB in terms of p and q, saying the m=y2-y1/x2-x1, using this equation i can place in the values 3-q/8-p=1/2, which I can simultaneously solve to get my final answer.@@danyalrashid2206
