Raisina Dialogue 2023 | The war in Ukraine has transfixed the world. Countries have taken or are being urged to take sides, even when they have no direct stakes. And yet, no clear end can be seen or even imagined to the conflict. Even as Ukraine determines its nationhood and future, the prospects for Russia grow uncertain in the eyes of the world.
What are the consequences for Eurasia and the wider global system of an unremitting land war in Europe? Has the world responded adequately? What does Russia’s conduct of the war imply for its future as a great power and its relationship with other stakeholders?

I dont see an INDIAN perspective in this discussion , Mr. Manish Tiwari is here but we all know about his history he is just another Brown Britisher and also we know that ORF is funded mainly by Western block so i didn't expect them to uphold the idea of #OpportunityForALL kind of thing

Maybe what Russia is doing is wrong, but we should also see that while Pakistan was doing the same thing to India these hypocrites (West) was silent.

What is the reason for Russia to start this war ??? Why the NATO has to expand to east Europe near Russia?? Why Russia was denied to join NATO before?

Are these experts? Disappointed they could not showcase Indian wisdom and talent. I am a layman and I can talk better about peace comes. That would come when military outcome will be clear and then instead of reaching inevitable just finalize that outcome peacefully. Russian dude was honest

Eeva Eek states Nato is more united and stronger then ever now. Yet a Nato country bombed another Nato countries pipeline, ending it's cheap energy supply that it's industrial base is so dependent on. This has nothing to do with being united

Interesting discussion, imparts the rigid stance that each section of panel holds for. It seems more like a blame game, even for seeking peace.

I applaud this panel's rational approach, with representation from all sides. It stopped short in examining US's role in instigating a democratically elected government in the first place in 2014.

The US representative had lectured a lot about humanity and global order etc. Good. But what is their explanation about the Iraq war, Afgan war, Vietnam war and .. the list goes on. They should rather be silent if they have the minimum sense of shame. And about NATO .. what is their explanation about failed Minsk agreement?? The NATO representative was silent on it. In international politics, trust once lost can never be regained.

I could not agree with you more, here comment that Democrats and Republicans are united against China gives the game away. She should have been asked, why is the United States preparing to go to war with China.

Interesting point Vlada states about what the US doesn't want. "the last thing the US wants is to see China be an international peace broker and rising to another level on the world stage"...... she admits the US doesn't want this, yet she thinks the US is a good peace broker. This is illogical.

Despite the stellar composition of the panel, it is utterly shameful not to have Ukrainians from Ukraine represent themselves. We talk about Ukraine without Ukraine: this is the core problem. The US representative said this, but it would have been better to mention that in this panel there is no Ukraine. Only the Estonian representative could say something sensible. The Baltic states, Ukraine and the Eastern Europeans know Russia best.
