I've always found the passage about "the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases" to be intriguing. It's from Lamentations 3:22-23. It's a very encouraging passage, that God's mercies are "new every morning." What intrigues me is that it's smack dab in the middle of a book of the Bible that is pretty depressing (hey, it's about "laments", what did I expect?) Then this passage pops up and the sun is shining and the sadness is gone. Christian life is often like that; times may get dark, but God is always there, and He promises in Romans 5:3-5 that our suffering will eventually lead to hope.

I have a very deep memories of this song,,I remember I went to a solitary place to pray and fast and I kept playing this song in my mobile while going up to that mountain. Glory to God it's still very fresh in my heart 15 yrs ago....we'll be blessed because we came!! Amen &amen

I'm pretty sure this is the Maranatha Singers, although the version I am more familiar with was led by a woman. I've always thought that this a good song to open a worship service ("As we gather...we'll be glad because we came"), and then putting "Steadfast Love" in the middle, which says that God's mercies are "new every morning" (from Lamentations 3:22). Sort of sets the mood.
