Thank you for sharing this incredibly wonderful performance. They didn't reschedule their Vancouver show so seeing this is just awesome. I was super jazzed reading their INCREDIBLE SETLIST with so many of the deeper cuts that are such outstanding gems and, so many personal favourite deep cuts that they have seldom/never played live before! This is really something profoundly deep and, meaningful...two great friends...survivors...sharing an intimate musical moment together and...letting the people who were at the show (and, all of us who watch this video that documents the magic happening here)! Pretty much exactly 1 month ago. I really respect Nez (who is a near genius musician in my book) for not playing during this at all. He's really respecting his great friend and, also, that he actually didn't play on this in the studio originally...but, I'll post the guitarists that DID play on this below because it is almost scary who did. And, Micky KILLS it here...53 yrs later...with his great friend Nez taking it all in...and, he's really, genuinely absorbing the fullness of the moment and, maybe reflecting on the shared journey that he has shared with his great friend Micky...and, perhaps thinking of Peter and Davy and the whirlwind existence that four very young and, unique young men shared together as they become friends...bonding into a team...a real musical group and, four incredible minds exploding with ideas to explore...together... And, as Nez is taking in his great friend's beautiful performance of one of Carole King's most beautiful ballads...you just know that he's completely baked too! Taking this moment in fully like it is 1968 all over again💖 **Guitarists - Neil Young, Ry Cooder, Carole King, Danny Kortchimer (solo), Ken Bloom and Tony McCashen

I wish I knew about this concert, it's not that far from where I live. I use to watch the Monkees when I was a kid.

This is just a few months before Mike dies. He is truly having a spiritual moment here. He had a lot of anger at the Monkee machine but here he is letting it go and only focusing on the good in his life that came from being a Monkee.
