Thank you to all of the amazing people on KZbin keeping me inspired with their great playing.
An old song that I wrote for my band Red Cloud (West). The lyrics were inspired by a book called Pillars of the Earth. I will always fondly remember my dear old friend Shayla Rose, who loved this song and always smiled when we would play it. I miss you, Shayla! Many thanks to the mighty Austin Carpenter for the riff at 03:04. You can hear the RC version, called "Castle Keep," with vocals here: redcloudwest.b...
I'm very happy to have a Gullett Guitar Company Challenger this week, borrowed from my pal Jim Morris. Jim's a rad dude and an excellent barber. Check him out at www.themugandb... and @mugandbrushsessions Gullett Guitar Company is a local builder here in Ohio and I'm very impressed with their work. I'm looking forward to playing some of their Telecaster-style guitars. Check them out here: www.gullettgui...

Who's been inspiring you? I've been listening to a lot of Grant Green lately and today I returned to Keith Jarrett's "La Scala.". What a beautiful album for a cold Ohio day.
