The Airbus Helicopters H215 (formerly Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma) is a four-bladed, twin-engine, medium-size utility helicopter developed and initially produced by the French aerospace company Aérospatiale. It has been subsequently manufactured by the successor companies Eurocopter and Airbus Helicopters. The Super Puma is a re-engined and more voluminous version of the original Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma.
It is powered by a pair of Turbomeca Makila 1A1 turboshaft engines which drive the rotorcraft's four-bladed main rotor and five-bladed tail rotor.
The main cabin of the Super Puma, which is accessed via a pair of sliding plug doors, features a reconfigurable floor arrangement that enables various passenger seating or cargo configurations to be adopted, which includes specialised configurations for medical operators. According to Airbus Helicopters, in addition to the two pilots, the short-fuselage AS332 can accommodate up to 15 passengers while the stretched-fuselage AS332 increases this to 20 passengers in a comfortable configuration.

This is the same kind of helicopter that was used to stand in as the Mil Mi-24 Gunship in Rambo 2 and Rambo 3 (obviously they couldn't get a real one from the then Soviet Union). Very impressive sound and rotors.

Thanks again for your video. I love all aircraft and back in the mid 1980’s I was working on my single engine private pilot license and had a chance to go in to start training in helicopters soon after as my instructor instructed both back then. But things happened including the economy,etc.... I could kick my butt. I was curious if you were a pilot (the little photo shot) made me curious. But helicopters are awesome even though expensive to fly and maintain I am told. I remember back then what my instructor told me what it would cost.

Rumor is they looked at the Sikorsky S-92. It was too expensive. So, they found three used low time Super Pumas. They refurbished them, added their equipment and designed the livery.
