My husbands Xmas gift to me las year was front seat tickets to see Asaf in Montreal, a 4/5 hour drive. I was extremely excited! Unfortunately, hubby threw his back out a few days before we were set to go and was bed-ridden, so we missed out. As soon as he has a show close enough, 2 hour plane or 4 hour drive, I'll be buying those tickets.

Asaf didn't start with singing and music until he was 26 years old, he's now 44. He's self taught on singing and instruments and does not care about sounding pretty or correct. He wants to get emotions out and does it fantastically

Ah-SAHF "A" in Asaf is pronounced like the "a" in calm AVIDAN "ah-vee-DAH DAHN" sounds like "don" (as in palm)

NEW SUB HERE !! 💊I NEED AN INTERVENTION 💊I think I have an addiction to watching someone react to Asaf Avidan's music the first time💊 and your reaction was awesome. THANK YOU TO @MichaelReiter for the request. With ALL Asaf Avidan's music, You don't *HEAR/LISTEN* to it YOU *FEEL IT !* No one can do it the way he does. Its hard to believe that his parents didn't give him a piano 🎹instead baby toy's. 👶🍼He had not picked up one instrument until he was in his late 20's and even then he taught himself how to play and does it masterfully with ALL instruments.🎸 That video was done 100% live with no kind of editing whatsoever what you hear is exactly what was recorded. This man has so many facets to his personality and therefore his music that it is unbelievable.‼ Very much look forward to seeing more of your reactions to his other songs. 🎵
